I've only played a little bit of this game, not the other two Legend games, and was wondering if the Hunter in this game is supposed to be the guy from the originals. Help here?

No. The games are separate universes, so he's just that universe's version of Hunter. <.<;

He's waaaay different. Hunter has only small cameo in TEN and no apperance in ANB. But he is almost at the beginning of DotD, so if you played originals, you'll quickly see how different he is

No, it's not the same Hunter from the original Spyro-verse of games. He's completely different.

As a memento. Same goes with Sparx, I think. They are obvious references to original Spyro. I think of then as of separate characters with same name, and I advise you too. You won't be disappointed ![]()

Well that's the same as saying why did they call one of the levels "The Valley of Avalar" when it is nothing like, or has nothing to do with the Avalar in Spyro 2 at all. I think it's just something to be noticed by the original fans of the series. Probably more like an easter egg? |

For nostalgia like HIR said, and to grab the attention of the classic fans.
Though he acts nothing alike to hunter(Whom I'm a fan) and is like an aragorn copy from tlotr, pretty much to fill that role of an already tlotr/star wars game!

The first Spyro game I played was Ripto's Rage and I found it hilarious when I played DotD how much they tried to make him opposite of the cowardly guy that lost his shoes. Now he's some stone-faced brave guy and it wasn't as enjoyable...
