All Skylanders are 8.99 from what I see in the ad. It says Skylanders Characters so It leads me to believe all. If not, you can just price match it at Walmart or Best Buy for the 8.99 price. Starter Packs for PS3, Wii U, Xbox360, 3DS, Wii for 59.99, and the Battlegrounds starter packs are $45.

It's only for standard single pack Skylanders (and does not include Light Core or Giants).

They should specifically include it there, yet today I went to walmart, of course they had no problem price matching it. I got Lightcore prism break.

Just go to Target's website and look about midway through the weekly ad. They only show Lightning Rod by the "Skylanders Characters $8.99" advertisement (and clicking on the link only lists the standard Skylanders as valid), but you could probably get away with price-matching that as above.

Honestly makes me wonder why we haven't seen any "store VS store wars" yet - like Target posting an add for all Skylanders at 25 cents for a week, and pulling all their Skylanders from the shelves during that week so Walmart gets pounded with losses from price matches.

Although I'm pretty sure the Better Business Bureau might have something to say if they tried that stunt.
