This is a much easier game than the last one I made.
Requirements:
You will need a game board that is NOT a dark color on the back. On the back of the game board (I used a Sorry board), use a sharpie or something to draw an 8x8 grid. Other than this, you need one normal die (dice), and of course Skylanders with their stat cards.
This can be played with someone or alone.
Gameplay:
The game starts with 4 Skylanders each on opposing sides of the board for a total of 8 Skylanders. More or less can be used if wished. Each side rolls the die to determine which side is first. After that, the side who rolled the highest roll. Both sides take turns rolling dice.
For each dice roll, the numbers determine this:
1: Move 1 space.
2: Move 2 spaces.
3: Move 3 spaces.
4: Move 1 space.
5: Move 2 spaces.
6: Move 3 spaces.
The spaces you get to move can be distributed. Example: If you roll a 3, you may move 3 skylanders one space, 1 skylander 1 space and another 2 spaces, or move 1 skylander all 3 spaces.
When you are on a space right by an opposing skylander, you can use 1 of your space moves to attack them. This results in a battle.
Battles:
Once a battle starts, the person who used the move to attack rolls the die. The numbers determine these stats from the corresponding card for both skylanders:
1: Stat 1 + 2
2: Stat 2 + 3
3: Stat 3 + 4
4: Stat 1 + 3
5: Stat 2 + 4
6: Stat 1 + 4
(The pattern is easy to catch on to)
Once determined, the stats are added together for each skylander. The skylander who attacked first gets a boost of 10. If both combined stats of the skylanders are tied, they roll the die back and forth. Whoever gets the highest numbers 3 times total will win. (Though ties are rare)
Once a skylander is defeated, it is removed from the game and set aside.
The last side standing wins.
All skylanders are equally matched. This is purely a game of luck and very minor placement strategy.
Giants:
Using giants is not recommended. However if used, they have their own rules.
They can still attack or be attacked from any surrounding space.
It take 2 space moves to move them 1 space (The base takes 2 spaces so this is why it takes 2 to move them both once)
If there are no normal skylanders left on the board, giants may be moved with 1 space move instead of 2.
Because of the high Giant stats, any stats over 100 (exactly 100 is fine) is cut in half. Examples: 140 becomes 70, 110 becomes 55, and 100 and below remains the same. After cutting the stats, play resumes as normal.
I will include pictures if requested. If there are any questions feel free to ask. And please correct my grammatical errors here, as I typed this extremely fast.
