I decided I'm gonna rewrite my old fanfiction. My writing has improved and I have more motivation so it should be better. I'll have the first chapter up sometime next week.

I should have chapter 1 posted today.

Cool! Glad to see you're contiuning your fanfic! I might be continuing mine too one day.

Sigh, here we go.... hopefully better than last time. It's gonna start off creepypasta-like.



"I haven't played this game in a while." Andrew said to himself. With that he opened up his old PlayStation2 and popped in a disc labelled The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night. The game started as usual and on the main screen Andrew decided to wait a bit for something he'd heard about. Sure enough, as the music reached its peak Malefor's silhouette appeared on the left side of the mountain(this part actually does happen). However something unusual happened as well, a deep, malevolent laugh was heard; something much more evil than Malefor's usual laugh. That frightened Andrew a bit but he shrugged it off as something he'd forgotten about and kept playing.

He selected a new file and the game began. It loaded faster than it should have but that wasn't noticed by anyone. The first cutscene, rather than the recap of the previous game, began showing the mountain of Malefor. Suddenly the mountain began to shake and something, almost dragon-like, exploded from the summit. It shot towards the zenith to gain altitude and flew off quickly in one direction.

The game than began to play as it should, starting with Spyro just outside the temple. Something was off however, the temple appeared more deserted than usual and Spyro seemed, scared. Even Sparx was quieter than usual.

Andrew nudged Spyro forward into the room with the dragon statue. What he saw inside shocked him; the statue was crumbling and the plant life was highly decayed. Again dismissing this as his faulty memory he kept playing.

Spyro fell over and entered his first dream, the fire one. Rather than being welcomed by the kind voice of the Chronicler there was nothing but silence. The world itself functioned properly but the stone soldiers looked, vicious. They attacked with more ferocity and drew blood where they made contact. Spyro yelped in pain with each blow. Finally, he unleashed his fury and the soldiers were burnt to a crisp.

Spyro, visibly in pain, woke up panting. His injuries were gone so he decided to continue on. All his enemies were more violent than usual and he had difficultly killing them. They even managed to hurt him at some points. This trend continued all the way until Spyro arrived at the Well of Souls. Spyro was bleeding from numerous wounds as he arrived at the top and collapsed from the pain.

He awoke what seemed a few hours later and Andrew was expecting to see Gaul at any moment. However, Malefor himself flew into the room unaware of Spyro. Spyro tried to hide knowing he'd easily be killed by the older purple dragon but was soon enough discovered by Malefor.

Malefor picked up the half-dead young dragon, held him to his face and whispered in a menacing tone "I've taken over your pathetic world. You are my last opponent but I won't kill you because you'll perish soon enough. "Don't expect any aid, the elders are dead" he said while gesturing to a pile of bodies in the corner of the room. "By tomorrow I'll have complete power over this planet", he looked right at Andrew "and yours is next" he growled.

Andrew, extremely frightened by this point turned off his console and went to try and get his mind off what he'd just seen.

So it would seem my motivation is gone again. I MAY continue this and it'd be mainly for one person in particular who I know really likes it.
