Oddly, only one of several TRU stores had this in my neck of Canada....the store that did have them was very low supplies. Maybe this is just a leaked amount before a major release? Normally TRU have announced these in the flyer in advance to bring the people in!

Went to my Brampton Toys R Us (where the ebay seller is) and there were none on the shelves. I did find a couple Scorpion Strikers!! Brought the two SS packs to the counter and asked the girl about the Leg. Chill. The rl said some guy was there just a few minutes before us and bought every single one off the shelves (she said it was about 20 Chills). I almost cried.

I asked if she had any more of the scorpion sets for my kids and she said yes... while opening boxes to get more she found another box of Leg. Chills!

These will be late (day after) Valentines day gifts for the kids!

Hmm. This must mean she's right around the corner for USA.

I got her (LC Leg. Chill) in Richmond Hill this evening along with the last SSBP.

Called my TRU and they said that they have a release date as of 2/22/2013 for the new wave. Not sure what is included in the new wave except for LC/Leg Chill.
They do not have any in stock but expect to get them this week for the release date. My TRU always stick to the release date and have never released them early like others, so I guess I will have to wait for the 22nd.

Checked out a couple more TRU locations this morning, and the biggest TRU of the bunch had a handful....not even close to the amount of L-Stealth Elf or L-Trigger Happy.

Yeah, for now. Canada always seems to get the Legendaries first. Don't get scalped on this one, we should see it in a week or so, maybe next Friday if reports are accurate. Simply not worth the premium, and it sounds like some "enterprising" individuals are going to try and take advantage of it by clearing out Canada TRUs - hoping to catch impatient people.

Sounds like it won't be too terribly hard to find (at least for the near future). Good to hear some other countries are getting in on "first sightings" as well for Wave 4. I know it is frustrating for them.

Ya i can wait, i know TRU tends to get tons of leg. stuff. My TRU still have like 50 of stealth elf and trigger happy, the 3 pack seems to be the rare thou.

Yes, the TRU here received a huge shipment of Scorpion Striker and Chill. I didn't bother with Chill because I don't care for legendaries.

Just be patient. Shipping one from Canada would cost around $9. That isn't worth getting it a few weeks early.

I have a feeling Legendary Chill will be like Legendary Trigger Happy. It will start appearing over time, then when the Wave 4 Hot Toy Alert goes out it will include her as well. I remember last March waiting in line to get Lightning Rod and Zook they were treating LTH as if he was one of the new ones they had gotten. But I already had it by then, as did most people that wanted him.

Now the only question is when we get that Wave 4 alert. Maybe next week, maybe the week after. I'm hoping it is well before Easter. My Skylanders stash is completely empty right now (although Jade FW is on the way) and I need something for the Easter baskets for the boys.

I just called another storeand they went into more details, explaining that it shows up "active" in their system which means they will get "more" of the item in stock, so I'm guessing the shipment is in transit right now! I mapquested that city in IL and it looks like it's about halfway between Indianapolis and Des Moines, maybe slightly closer to you... so my guess is that we could see her on the shelves this weekend in the Midwest (depending on when their truck shipments come in)!!

The TRU in Des Moines are pretty pathetic when it comes getting that type of stuff. I am honestly surprised they are still open. I will have to check on Sunday to see if they have gotten any in or not.

Question for TRU employees.... Do you guys get all skylanders in on your truck or do they all come fed-ex/UPS?

I think when I called about Ninjini on Wednesday on my way home from work they said they can't see what date the next shipment would arrive because Skylanders (or at least exclusives/early releases) come direct from the vendor via a Fed-Ex/UPS delivery... good call Bazinga!! Yeah. I knew the early ones came mostly Fed-Ex/UPS not sure if they get regular shipments in on trucks or not.

Legendary Chill is obviously shipping out via truck. Hence the staggered sightings. Not all the trucks leave at the same time or visit every single store, so it will be inconsistent. I guess they didn't want to spend the money for Fedex/UPS for this one.

According to reports the quantity they have of her is staggering. Some said a manager checked stock at the warehouse and they reported 6,000+ boxes. Lightcores ship 12 per box, so given the number of TRU in the US if that is a total nationwide count that means 80+ per store (not counting online stocking). Then if you consider it might be just ONE warehouse, wow. We might be looking at another Legendary Trigger Happy situation come summer. Free Legendary Chill with pre-orders of Swap Force!

checked with trus in uk again nothing getting pretty pathetic over here tesco/ target said they havent had any new skylanders yet since the last ones and they dont expect to have any for at least another couple of months were as asda/walmart said they havent got a clue but got a lovely girl at my local asda looking out for variants for me as she puts the boxes out as soon as they come in which is good

All stores show that it is active, but that doesn't mean it is in transit. Case in point, if these are coming via TRU DC's, then they will show up in the DC warehouse first. However, my stores' DC doesn't show any in their warehouse, meaning they aren't on their way to my local TRU's, despite each store showing them as "active."

Now, the only way they could come in without showing stock at DC's, is if they arrive via FedEx/UPS. Normally, that's how the newer figures arrive, with their Legendary Skylanders showing up via trucks. At least that's how it worked with L-Stealth and L-Trigg when they came out.

I agree defpally, however I know the TRU's in Des Moines get their trucks on Wednesday and Friday but they do not have it in yet. They must be doing some kind of staggering on this. Guess it will be one of them things have to keep checking for.

I just want to say, that it makes the most sense to call her "LightCore Legendary Chill" (NOT Legendary LightCore Chill, as is the topic title for this thread, and like everywhere else)
her name is "Legendary Chill" so those two words should never be apart. (its even written like that in the pic above)
"LightCore" is what describes her. If they made a "LightCore Polar Whirlwind" it would NOT be called "Polar LightCore Whirlwind" because that just don't make sense.

dos anyone else agree, or at least follow what im saying?


ps. sorry im so OCD to the point where I have to make this post, but i cant stand seeing her called the wrong name anymore lol

To me, "LightCore Legendary Chill" implies that there was a regular Legendary Chill before they introduced a LightCore version. Calling her "Legendary LightCore Chill" denotes that she is a special version of plain LightCore Chill, which is certainly a more accurate description.
