Dark mentioned on his guestbook about changing hosts. MentalPower made a post on his own guestbook that mentioned that he was here to help move stuff around. It was probably just for a server movement and Dark needed someone to help him out a bit - maybe Dark hasn't moved server before and wanted someone who knew what they were doing? I dunno, just throwing out suggestions.

He is with Curse, a company that you see on other forums etc(such as the Minecraft one). His title says "CurseDevOps". So he is NOT a mod and to confirm, he is just helping with the new server transition. So there.

Actually if I'm correct, Dark's moved the server once before, but then the site went down for a week. It's gotten bigger since then, and he probably just needed an extra hand. Also wouldn't be surprised if he has a tight schedule and wanted to get this done quickly.
