Just to let you know, all the main 5 buttons(e.g. Forum, Guidebook etc.) have been moved to the right and an ad has been moved to above the Forum listings. And we are on an alternative server now. Just letting you know.

It's being really bad on mobile. Like, really really bad.
Is it just for today?

Sadly, no. This is the new layout until whenever Dark decides to do something new with the site.

So far is very smooth on the laptop.
I rather enjoy the new layout!

Just hope that the mobile version doesn't stay glitchy forever.

I keep messing up and hitting the Home button instead of the forum button. Oh well, I'll get used to it after a day. The ad thing is troublesome, but like Dark said, side affect of progress. We'll get used to it. Some people didn't like the new layout a yearish ago when Dark updated it, but we all got used to it. And if it stops the site from crashing, I'm all for it.

The ads also show some inappropriate content...

I have a new message on my guestbook and I can't view it because the home and poll buttons are right over my name.

Clearing cache may fix some problems you may experience, keep that in mind before reporting a problem. I think.

Yeah, it's just awful.

Clearing the cache didn't work. Dark needs to undo this, for real.

Edit: It works well with Firefox, but I can't be using an entire browser for just one specific site. Firefox doesn't work well with all the other sites I go on (Facebook, YouTube, Wikia, etc.)

Dark any chance of getting a donate button for us to give a little to the site to help run it? I use adblock and have no intentions of turning it off.

If you really care, the OLD OLD OLD style of the website is still available if you go into your settings and adjust the layout. <.<;

I agree. That's the only thing bugging me right now. Especially when the ad doesn't seem to be working or takes forever to load, and there's just this blank space taking up part of the page. I keep like wanting everything to move up and take up that empty space or something. It's kind of annoying. But I guess I'll get used to it.

This... It was out of the way. Now it's all in your face. It draws your attention more than the user info bar does. :/

Kinda the point with ads.

I don't like it, I preferred it the way it was. I think it looks ugly now, with a great big space underneath the banner for the ads, it's horrible. Switch it back to the way it was I say. It's like the advertisement, it's literally being shoved into your face, I think it was better when it was left up in the corner, you can still notice them, but it being up there doesn't make the site look untidy. And honestly, I don't think the site crashed that much, and when it did, it didn't really bother me a great deal. I just found something else to do, lol.

My explanation is pretty bad, but I do feel quite annoyed about it. Amazingly, I'm not finding myself clicking onto "Home" instead of "Forum", probably because I'm thinking about the change too deeply.

I have heard a few sub topics in this thread. My opinion on them:

Ads:
I do agree with all the other users on this as they aren't really that impressive here. But, the site does need money so we have to have the ads.

Layout:
The new layout is confusing but we will eventually get used to it. But personally, I am not a big fan of the layout either.

Maybe if we click on all the ads Dark will listen to us. It's worth a shot.

Yes it will, most ad services only give you money when you click on them AFAIK, atleast, that's what my last ad thing was like

I don't mind the ads being there, just as long as they aren't smack bang in your face, and all you see IS the ad, I won't get used to it, as I preferred the way it was before.

If you're seeing this, it means that your ISP hasn't changed the location of the website on their servers. Its an automated process, but sometimes it takes longer than its supposed to. If it doesn't clear itself up, call the ISP and have them check their "caching DNS servers" because they have stale data (they'll know what it is).

Uh...I believe it's so that the coding/stuff doesn't start messing up. It's like where certain characters would cause posts to delete themselves - the slash prevents that. I believe...no expert here.

Yep, sometimes happens to me. But it is fine when I sort it out.
