Does anyone know who is the voice of Pipsqueak? He sounds incredibly familiar, like a very well know cartoon character, but can't put my finger on it, nor can I find it on the interwebs :-/
Hope someone can help me get the nag out of my brain about this ;-)

Jeff Bergman has done the voice of Droopy before, and he is listed in the voice over cast of Skylanders: Giants.
So its certainly possible that its him. |

You mean the Mohawk Cyclops "king" in charge of the arena on Molekin Mountain? Yeah, he sounds like Droopy Dawg... But IMDb specifically lists Jeff Bergman as the voice of Zap. Doesn't mean he didn't do any others, but I would think all or nothing would be listed...

Jeff Bergman is still listed as one of the voices of other characters in Giants. IMDB only listed Jeff being the voice of Zap since they confirmed him voicing the character.

IMDB is far from acute on a lot of things, though it generally does try to police itself rather well. Its maintained by fans and anyone can submit information. That doesn't always mean its true. So unless its confirmed by another source its likely not going to get listed. I dont know if Jeff Bergman has an official Facebook/Twitter account. Trying to get him to respond through something like that would be the quickest way to get an answer if he doesnt have an online resume with a website.

I'm quite aware how IMDb works, _I'M_ a contributor to IMDb. But it does usually seem like they get the base information - like who plays/voices who - from a more official source than the fans... Most TV episodes have this stuff mostly filled in before the episode even airs, before the fans even can know. From all the missing information for this game, I'm guessing they didn't this time.

Video games seem to be a bit different though compared to animated voice work. At least when it comes to disclosure on crediting people. I dont know if its a contract thing or how it works. I know I actually talked with a person who worked for BioWare through their forums back when Mass Effect 2 and 3 where coming out and he was allowed to confirm people that were signed to do voice work, but wasnt allowed to provide a list of who/what each person was voicing. I dont know if I was actually working in the industry if there was be a different resource for me to be able to access.

Well I understand that... At least before the release. Imagine a year ago if news got out that in Giants "So-and-so is voicing Kaos", that would be a huge spoiler that Kaos is back in this game, despite being exiled at the end of the last game. Releasing character names would be a (minor) spoiler, how minor depending on the character and the game.

Thanks for all the comments, guys :-D Was thinking of Droopy as well...but I didn't know for sure. But since more think so...it could be :-) Think I'll try to look at an option to get it from Jeff Bergman himself ;-)
Thanks again

Felix from Wreck-It Ralph is voice by Jack McBrayer. Jack McBrayer is not listed at all in the credits of Skylanders Giants as a voice actor.

Sounding like someone else is far from meaning anything. Thats half of what gets voice actors jobs. They can do impressions or sound like someone else.

That still doesn't mean that character is really voiced by Jack McBrayer, he's not listed as one of the voice actors in the game.

Course there are times people are listed as "uncredited" in some projects. So unless you know specifically who did who, you don't really know.
