what do u like da most these new spyro games or ps1 version

to me i dont mind i like both of them and i like
but i really like tlos:anb/ten its a beter storyline

I love the newer ones! Not only are the graphics AMAZING (I'm real picky about graphics. It's something I look for in a game. Along with suspense, action, comedy, and reasons to keep you playing) but the trilogy has a great plotline, and it's always clear where you need to do next. Unlike in some of the older games. Here' I'll compare it to Enter the Dragonfly and The Eternal Night

Graphics:
TEN: Excellent, almost movie-like
EtD: Graphics were pretty good for it's time

Voice overs:
TEN: Amazing voice talents, great job, though I liked David Spade better for playing Sparx
EtD: They were okay, though sometimes seemed to lack....something. And Spyro's voice kinda creeps me out

Plot:
TEN: Very interesting, always left you wanting to know what happens next
EtD: An okay plot, though they could've made it more exciting than just find Dragonflies

Gameplay:
TEN: Awesome gameplay! The attacks were very powerful and easy to use, plus, they're really cood
EtD: Kind of easy and hard at the same time. See, the enemies are easy to beat, but flying is hard without the double jump, and I usually fall off of cliffs and get game overs XP Also, very basic attacks. No excitement there

Characters:
TEN: They created the characters and their attitudes very well, and they all look very realistic. I also love the voices
EtD: Just about all the characters look weird and very unrealistic, though dragons aren't real, so you gotta wonder what "realistic" is for them. In my opinion, this is not what they'd look like. And Sparx looks....well, more like a dragonfly, I guess, but I like him in tLoS better

And in the older games, I really hate all the gem collecting and mini portals.

SO, I think it may be obvious which one I like better

New Spyro games forever!!

I like the new ones, but the old ones are so charming! And Spyro in StD is just so adorable.

I really like Cynder in TLOS and how it is so epic and the music, gameplay,plot, Graphics and voice over work. (Cynder makes up for there not being enough females...T_T)

But the Original had a bit more charm which makes up for the voice over work (Which was not bad but not really great but DEFINITLY better then ETD) and Graphics. Although those WERE the best graphics at that time so I really can't compare that! But my biggest complaint is the lack in female characters. Especially in the first where there were none whatso ever.

Overall they are both splendid games but on there own radar each are so different and so great it is hard to compare the two!

I like them both. but TLOS is way better then the old ones.

but StD had female characters, alot of them (FAIRIES) but ya, better story and epic moves gives TLoS a big lead!

I like new because it is a nice reboot

defenitely love the voice acting and story

not much of a graphics person but they are always a nice addition

I haven't heard of any games that have beaten their original versions.It isn't true with Spyro,I guess.

I love both old and new Spyro.I love the older game's exploring and such.I love new Spyro's combat and story.It would be great to see a combination of old and new Spyro!xD

I like both. I danno wich on I like better.

TLOS has got Cynder in it but the PS games have more to it then kicking enemys butts. It has pazzle and stuff.

I gess I proberly like the old ones better. It may have not that great grapics but at list it dosn't get borring after a wile. And you can go and get suff you have mist unlike TLOS. I will never forget that.

TLOS are still good though. CYNDER ROX!!

Please play them.I think you can find them on maybe Amazon or Ebay.(maybe a gaming store if you're lucky)They are amazing classics.

hmm... I guess i just like newer games, coz almost every game I've played, if I've played an original then a new one, I'd say that the newer one is better. (eg: Sonic, Crash etc.)


And with Spyro there is no exceptions!
