Green base figures work on everything right? [CLOSED]

I just had someone try and tell me they needed to back out of a auction bid because they say the game they are playing only accepts orange base characters!?! Huh? I've used my series 1 stuff on Universe, Giants, and of course S:SA, I think they are full of bunk. There are only a few games and the new games are all backwards character compatible. I can't decide if I should honor it outright or wait and see what happens at auction end.

It's only a extra Terrafin I have and don't expect much from the auction anyway...

I told him/her that I would deal with it at the auction end if indeed they were the winning bidder. I also added I did not appreciate being lied to for a reason to back out of a bid and to show me some respect and I would gladly work with them if they did not want the item.

He sent me back a response this morning after the auction ended last night, they were not the winning bidder. It was a nice all caps rant about being called a liar and repeated that the green based figures do not work on his machine. Accused me of using him to inflate my auction price by not canceling his bid. I am now on his do not buy from list also. I feel like responding with Activisions customer support number and tell him I'm sorry he has a defective "machine" but I am gonna let it drop. No biggie.
