Okay, I heard that Cynder dies in the end of DotD. I just thought it was a rumor and thought nothing else of it. But in the Elija Wood interview, he was voicing Spyro and said "I Know what I need to do. Just get out of here Cynder" so then I thought maybe when they go to fight the Dark Master, Spyro tries to get Cynder to leave for her own safety, but she insists on staying, and then gets killed by the Dark Master, then Spyro kills him. Just a thought. What do you guys think? I really don't want her to die, though

The best thing is to not believe em. If they don't have any profs then the chances of it being true are slim! Especially if it is about Cynder; she is way to popular to die!

Thats what I thought too, and the fact that if you play the game alone as her, you'd fail and die at the end...but it would add a good (yet sad) twist. You never know

I would like Cynder to much so I would like a different ending. Afterall she is my favorite character!

Doubt it. Really doubt it. There's so many Cynder fans that Sierra/Activision'd stand to lose more than half the fandom if they killed her off .

Cynder won't die, she's an important character in the LoS series. They can't just kill her off.

I think they should kill her off, and then when Spyro is in REALLY big trouble with the DM, wake up and kill him (DM) with a fury of a new breath that she has never used before. Then it ends.

Sierra will really be shooting themselves in the foot if they kill off Cynder.

In response to Spyro2008ne thing I didn't like about YOTD was how happy it was. Here the sorceress was, stealing baby dragons and trying to get their wings. The least that they could do was make it seem a LITTLE serious.

Cynder better not die i like her as a character rly well but spyro is my fav on the other games

i dont want her to die, but if she does, it would make the ending to the triology fit the other games, bcuz Cynder isnt in AHT or ETD or any of the others ... if Spyro dies, then its just like ... not fitting the time line lolz

I disagree with you on the 'poorly done combat' matter. I found it fun, and there were plenty of puzzles, you just have to look hard enough to find them (in Tall Plains, there was the whole, 'find and push buttons to raise totem poles to move on' part, and the train chase in Muntion's Forge, and there were a couple of flight levels. Wait...why am I talking about ANB?
For TEN, the Pirate fleet presented a couple of challenges, such as getting the barrel through the spiky floor traps using Dragon Time and a good amount of patience . I can't think of anything else at the moment, but you get my point.
The old series is just as apt to get boring as the new. I have a fairly long attention span, and even I found myself getting bored of the constant 'one hit and the monster's dead' gameplay and the puzzles weren't as fun after doing them a couple of times. It happens with every game, so I'm not saying I didn't get bored of TLoS at one point. The gameplay, story and characters/bonds were superior to the old series's in my mind, but that's probably due to my liking for more combat oriented games, story based games.

The old games were really boring in my opinion. I mean, you pretty much just throw a lighted match at the bad guys, and they go "poof!" I like a bit more of a challenge than that. Even now, tLoS is getting a bit easy for me. I still want more of a challenge, but not enough to get me stuck *glares at KH2* on certain parts. I'm hoping that DotD will give me that

If Cynder did die, Spyro would be emotionally scared for life. (Ouch.)
I wonder if Cynder was taken over by Malefor again and Spyro couldn't break her free. His remaining option would be to trapped both of them into the void of where he was imprisoned. This may have a similar effect on Spyro emotionally but it's possible that years later he might be able to free her and destroy the Malefor once and for all...with some help.

Oh Mangon they better not kill off Cynder. Besides, you can complete the game as either dragon. I don't understand why she'd die in the middle of that battle. <.>

They said that a known character would die. Cynder isn't really a known character. Besides, why would they kill off such a popular character just to make the ending sad and intrasting? Like matesds said, I hope she just get a bit injoured.. I think something like this should happend. Spyro says that line "I know what I need to do, just get out of here Cynder" Cynder refuses to leave. The DM uses a powerful attack on Spyro. Cynder jumps infront of him so she will get hit instead. She is very badly injoured and proberly close to death. Spyro thought she died so he gets really angry and kills the DM. As soon as he kills him he rushes over to Cynder. He says thing like "please don't die Cynder" and "Why did you protect me from getting hit? I should of got injuored not you!" Then Cynders says "I'm... not...... dead.... Spyro...." Spyro is very happy.

I think something like that should happen. I hope I'm not getting off topic...

Well, killing off important characters is not uncommon really. *cough*InthatrightCloudtail?*coughcough* Ahem, but I don't think it would be Cynder.

Shouldn't put too much into a big plot-sensitive thing like that...

i agree, i like TLoS better than the old games the charicters are better and everything just looks better, it's more fun than the old series i think.

I prefer TLoS, but that is my opinion.

same here, i find that the TLOS games are way better than the old series

I find that the old one are better then the new ones. All the new ones is, is just fighting apes, walk for a little bit, about 12 apes get chucked at you, you have to fight them all and the same thing happens over and over and it gets boring after a while! I don't see why everyone likes it when it is just fighting bad guys! AHT was the best one and I wish they would make more games like it. The new compeny is all about actone and the games are not for kids about 7 anymore. The old ones were for kids about 6 and over but now, there games are far to hard for kids about 6 and proberly too hard to understand for a 7 year old and they are proberly not good for the 16 year olds eather because it would be too easy for them. The old ones is what made the games popular in the first place!

At the end of DotD, Spyro will wake up just after beating the Sorceror in Shadow Legacy.

1. I made this about 2 months ago when I heard it as a rumor on you tube
2. At that point, I didn't know ANYTHING
