SSj3 Derek Gold Sparx Gems: 2061	#6 Posted: 23:25:41 07/02/2013 It's not that hard, all you need are some stones with 4 blades on any side. Remember, once you turn one of his stones, he has no way to turn it back. If you can lay down any 4 blade stone in a position where you turn one of his and he can't turn yours, then you can go 1 for 1 and beat him.

cbunny84 Yellow Sparx Gems: 1403	#7 Posted: 23:43:25 07/02/2013 I've gotten lucky prior to getting the conquertron stone. Look for stones that got mostly 3 on the sides and if u put them in the corners and such you can get lucky and beat him 5-4. --- new edition:

As mentioned above, just use a stone with 4 to any side. he plays corners so will leave you good plces to play that are safe from attack later. Yeah, I bought Gargantula from Auric when I could (4 points on one side, nothing on the others), and I think I managed to buy another 4 point stone somewhere. Since they're blank on 3 sides they're about never one of your 5 best, and so not in your hand by default. This was enough for me to barely manage to tip the balance to beat him 5 to 4. Try to make sure as many as possible of your stones have 3 points on as many sides as possible. With some luck and patience, you should be able to beat him. Once you beat him once, you get one of his Axecutioners (I really wish we could win MORE than one), then it gets easier after that.

I beat him WAY before I was able to buy Conquertron, in fact not long after learning Skystones from the pirates.
