Ice King: Fire Fury
Stone Sentinel: Doesn't matter - just melee him from inbetween his feet
Steam: Fire or electric.
Cynder: I like earth fury for her!

actully the breaths work better than the furys. I got frozen by the Ice king and then died.Then I used the ice breathon him to see how he likes it AND THAT TOTALLY TRASHED HIM!!!! also i think the fire fury is the worst.

I think the all time best fury is Kytheron's Wrath of Nature cos it seems to have such a wide range and totally gets all of the enemies around!

Standard furies can hardly knock of a quarter of a Boss's health meter, once you get the super furies, I can 1-Hit KO a boss!

cool! Thanks Brazilian Spyro! That's really helpful! My game should come in the mail tomorrow or something. So that's gonna help alot, since i never played it before (lol). I made this whole page on Open Office writer (basically Microsoft Word), and I have all these cheats and stuff, so I added that chart to my cheat page! (lol) smilie thanks!

Unfortunately, all breaths and furies work equally well on all bosses: not very well at all (except for the cheap super duper Earth secondary bomb or, if you're a dirty Gameshark user, the Vacuum Wave).

This hold true for furies too ; unless you unleash it from point blank, it won't knock a quarter off a single layer of health from the boss. It's just not worth it ; to get this close, you must expose yourself to the bosses' physical attacks (which do a lot of damage) and once the attack is performed, Spyro can't move thus leaving yourself vulnerable to some serious punishment.

Until you get the upgrade furies (raise an element to maximum level), don't bother with furies.

If you do manage to get upgraded furies, then the risk might be worth it ; if you can manage to get all of the hits in, you can remove up to a whopping two layers of health off a boss! That's a potential one hit kill on Cynder and reduce every other boss (except Steam) to less than half of its maximum health.

So, in short, don't bother with furies until you get the upgraded furies. Once you get them, if you feel brave and can easily clear past the bosses' counter-attacks, go for it.

That's why I generally sneak up behind the boss by charging around. It's easy to do on Stone Sentinel, Steam and the Ice/Electric Kings because of how slowly they move. Cynder... I just double-jumped over her attack and furied in mid-air.
