Its been about a month since Hot Dog, Thumpback and Eye-Brawl have been out yet the game has them as "coming soon" and cannot be added. What gives?

they have been in from day 1 (if you but the toy on the portal the lock will go away and it will unlock). I have been playing as all 3 for weeks now.

Unfortunately I did not buy the set with the portal, just the app. Still, it should open anyways. In Lost Islands I added them in with the codes, no problem. They even announced their arrival. I dont get it.

Then I think you may be out of luck till they update the game (but they have not updated battle grounds in months, so it may be a long wate).

They just updated cloud patrol, maybe battleground update is near.

I have all three unlocked on my game via the bluetooth portal.

Well guys, the reason the games have not been updated is because Vicarious Visions is making Swap Force, and they chose to put their time on that.

This is getting ridiculous that it's taking this long for an update.

Still locked?

Yes, still locked. Lost Islands keeps getting updated because its a cash cow. People use really money (stupid btw) to get overpriced items. Battlegrounds was not made to be a cash whore so they have abandoned it. Sad. To me its a closer sibling to the actual Skylander games than Lost Islands or even Cloud Patrol.

I think they missed the boat with the "gimmick" behind the iOS market.

They'd have had better sales with a 99 cent game and the typical in-app restrictions. Instead, they priced the game at $7 and gave you in-game XP/Gold restrictions that you COULDN'T disable unless you spent $50 for the Bluetooth portal and at least two characters you probably already owned.

As a result, they sold very few copies of it and eventually abandoned the project in its half-finished state. You'll probably still be able to play the holiday levels in JULY at this rate.


Even now, the game's been on-sale for $2.99 this week and nobody even cares to mention it.
