Yes, I got mine for $40, too. He sells for a few bucks less on eBay, but shipping usually totals over $40..

If you want him it's worth it seeing as they were only available in the $150+ bundles.

40$ is a decent deal on a figure that is only available with a dead console. Though, personally, I wouldn't do it.

LAst week Target had the Wii/Giants bundle with Gnarly Tree Rex on Temporary Price cut for $109 ($40 off the feature price). Not bad if you actually need a Wii and a Giants game. This bundle won't be around forever, so I imagine you would keep your eyes open it will eventually go on clearance.

I bought the wii bundle, sold all of the pieces, kept Gnarly and actually made money!!!....thats the way to go.

He's a nice figure to have- Paid 39.99 for mine (Free shipping) so yeah- was worth it to me, I regret nothing.

I paid $30 for mine from some one locally. She had no idea it was different or special. But was refusing to split him up from the game. So thats the offer it took. But i felt like i made an awesome deal since i wasnt prepared to spend money on a wii in hopes of re selling it. I love gnarly. Hes my favorite giant variant so far.

I would buy it. You could buy a nintendo wii for 120-150 depending on sale.

Is it worth it? Honestly, that's a question you have to answer for yourself. If you would be happy having him, and that doesn't seem like too much to you, than it's worth it. Otherwise it isn't.

Personally I love mine. Tree Rex is probably my favorite giant, and this is an even cooler looking version with higher stats. I will say if you don't like Tree Rex, it probably isn't worth it.
