Curious....if you already have regular Shroom Boom for example, already fully levelled and then you buy Lightcore Shroom Boom, will you need to fully level LC Shroom Boom from scratch? Or will he keep the same level as the "standard" version?

Fully level LC Shroomboom from scratch.

It's a different figure. Even if you got a separate regular Shroom Boom, you'd have to level it up again.

How about under your list of "Owned Skylanders? Do you get a different Icon for Lightcores?

Yes you get a different icon. I can't recall if the picture is different but it will add to your collection and show up on the list as Lightcore Shroomboom or what ever one you have.

For SSA I got a single Cynder, then recently when I wanted Lightning Rod to work on his Heroic Challenge (it's glitched, but I added the HC with my nephews' Rod, so having him let me re-add the challenge to a new save game), I saw and got the triple pack of Lightning Rod, Cynder and Zook (who I didn't have either). So I now had two standard Cynders. I had to play them, level them and upgrade them completely separately. And the game doesn't show in any way that I have 2.

So yes, you have to completely level a new character from scratch, no matter who. I took them on different paths, and gave them nicknames of "Cyner One" and "Cynder Two", so I know which is which.

Just lol at this topic...sorry but i thought this was just common knowledge by now?? Each figure has its own memory. The game itself only remembers if you used it or not...even hats are carried on to another game whether you own it on the save file or not.
