So,
The boss was on her iphone Lost Islands, and she got an option to pick up (for a ton of gems) "Cupid Flameslinger"
And the skylander count went up to 59.
Doesn't look too bad, he's' in a black outfit and shoots the heart arrows.

In the caption, it mentions something about "maybe you can get him in stores".

So, folks get your tax return money ready,
That's probably the only way any of us peasants will be able to score the figure retail.

That's actually a really cool idea now that I think about it. Alternate costumes for characters would have been awesome in the game, especially if it was possible to buy the irl ones. (for instance, if you wanted to unlock the "Gnarly Tree Rex- Alter Ego" you could spend say....30,000 gold to unlock him in game, and the skin is assigned to a particular character)

Then when you summon them it'd say
Alter Ego Gnarly
Tree Rex

Hopefully they'll do something like this in the future games..or heck, even in Universe. After buying and upgrading everything you're left without a money sink, so having Alter Ego characters would be perfect, especially because you can switch between them there without having to use a figure like in the games.

No alternate Cupid attribution for characters. He MIGHT get a figure, but it will show up as Special in Giants. --- Will still be checking the forums every now and then!

Ya but what bugs me is he costs 25$ to unlock in that game only, way to much if you ask me. A real skylander only costs $10 or $15 for a giant. This in game only one costs 25$ in gems to get for just this game.

That's the "Info" sheep, tapping him brings up the Lost Islands "news" like the screenshot.

Cupid Flameslinger isn't a actual toy, it's Lost Island's version of other games Limited items. Example

davesmsperfect Blue Sparx Gems: 930	#24 Posted: 01:26:02 02/02/2013 I play this game a lot on my iPad. I have yet to see any totems & haven't had any luck with the well yet. Edit: Just got a totem. Make sure you pay attention because they are timed. You use 3 different Skylanders to break the totem bricks then you get the stone.

Good choice! I always pictured Skylands as a gay friendly world. BTW I say Zap's adoptive parents should be a gay Eel couple.

Press the Home Button to exit Lost Islands
Double Click the Home Button to bring up multitasking
Hold the Lost Islands App in the Multitasking bar until the Apps in the Bar start wiggling.
Click the Red Buttom on top of Lost Islands in the Multitasking bar to do a Hard Shutdown of the app.
Reopen the app in the Home Screen and you will see the new update with Cupid Flameslinger.

There is a thread about this Cupid in Lost Islands subforum. A few people have won it. I was lucky enough and won it after ~ 10 attempts. I didn't win 100 gems yet but won 35K gold twice in a row.
