This has been really perturbing me for a while now, why not let new skyalnders like thumpback and fright rider change paths like series 2? It really doesn't make sense to me, I would like to try out both of their other paths, but I don't feel like resetting them and re training them because odds are I may not like the path that much, I love thumpy's bad sushi attack but his combos look fun too, and fright rider looks funner on the joust jockey path, is acti planning on releasing s2 figures of all the new guys? I hope not!

Of course. It's an easy way to add more "figures" to collect in a wave without actually adding any new features to speak of.

It's a safe bet that we'll see "Version 2" figures of:
The eight Giants
The eight Newlanders
The eight "Lostlanders" (Warnado / Dino-Rang / Sunburn / Camo / Voodood / Boomer / Ghost Roaster / Wham-Shell)

As well as at LEAST eight more Lightcore variants in the next Skylanders game.


That's 32 more figures with no effort needed other than making a different pose.

well we can only see reposed on the ones selling more and mybe 8 will be left out too

There never really was a purpose to the original S2s other than being reposes. I mean sure the ability to change paths was cool and all but that was the only real difference.

I completely forgot those existed. Not gonna lie, some of those were actually improvements (like the ones for Slam Bam, Ignitor and Cynder) but they weren't very good reasons to rebuy.
