That did take longer than I anticipated. Here is my guess, Activision is slowly rolling out inventory so the initial batches sell really quickly. This builds hype as people talk about how hard they are to get. Then Activision starts releasing more and more. People still think it is hard to get so they quickly buy them when they find them.

In the not to distant future both of these figures will be very easy to find at most major stores, just like Bouncer, Swarm, and Hot Head are now.

I've seen hot heads popping up a lot more often lately, I've seen 1 at GameStop last week, 2 at target last week, and at least 5 at Toysrus on the weekend

Hot Head isn't available on Amazon but is on Gamestop and I've seen it in local stores too. Probably the best indicator of overall supply vs demand is the resale price.

If the figure is being resold for more than retail price, demand outstrips supply. If it resells for less than retail price then the item is easy to find. This is something I am trying to track with my price guide and historic prices.

Also good to keep in mind, this is on a national level. Some local areas may be easy to find it and others may be harder.
