The Definitive PvP Tier List: Sky Goals edition [CLOSED]

This is a collaborative Sky Goals tier project for anyone who's interested to help me work on it. Please read the rules before commenting:


  • No "Every Character is balanced and you need to know how to use them" comments. While characters may take skill to use, this game is not completely balanced.
  • Don't just say "Blah Blah Blah should be in "Blah Blah Blah", you must give legit reasons why you want that character in a specific tier and how well they compete with everyone else there and in neighboring tiers. Be sure to test battles with an opponent around or equally as skilled as yourself.
  • We are concerned with Sky Goals! Not Arena Rumble or the other modes, please remember this!
  • Please state your strategies on how you use that character when giving suggestions or use video gameplay if you can. Some characters take skill to use and you just might not be good with them.
  • When testing, be sure to use Random Arenas and Random Characters.

If there's another helpful rule I missed, please let me know and I'll put it up here. I got the tier names from existing NFL teams (Sky Goals is based on Football after all), please don't be offended if one of your favorite and/or state teams are low -ranked.
  • NO hats and both competitors have to have an equal amount of heroics. It needs to be a fair match

    I wish I could play Sky Goals a bit more often (though I would've preferred it to be like Basketball instead of Football), no one besides me likes to play it.

    What she lacks is speed, if you get the ball you can easily get caught by your opponent because she's slow-moving and you can't attack when you have the ball.

    I say she's one of the Dashing Dolphins from Miami.

    Well, B is one of the top three. I can't argue there. And with the winged hat and heroics, Chill is my fastest. But she is slow with no hat or heroics. And I agree that Skygoals should have been basketball. At least my bro will play it with me though!

    Oops, I forgot to put a rule up here and it's:

    NO HATS!! Hats are cheating and provide boosts, it's not fair unless both players are wearing the samne hat and have an equal amount of heroics. Even then, it doesn't show their natural strength.


    I gotta remember this one, but at least we agree on the Basketball thing.

    I'm working on the Heroics thing, but all my characters have the same hat. At least Chill Ice Lancer is in B instead of C or D or E or F. And I like how you used real football names as outlines for the made up ones.

    LOL Zap is the WORST skylander in PVP, but he is the best in Sky Goals. To bad Sky Goals is'nt as popular as Arena Rumble. If you ever do a arena rumble tier list, you could use wrestling stuff. (uber used undertaker anyone?)

    I'd rather say Trigger Happy is the worst in PvP, especially on Golden Frenzy!
    But yeah, too bad Arena Rumble's far more popular (still would rather have basketball though), all the other modes except Sky Gem Master are just as good.
