Why do they have to be store exclusives?

Molten Hot Dog: Best Buy (Come on.... Yellow is their main color.)
Polar Whirlwind: Release everywhere (No exclusivity)
Scarlet Ninjini: Walmart
Jade Flashwing: Target

Personally:

Polar Whirlwind should be launched at Best Buy. They've yet to get an exclusive for Giants. (not counting that swag bag on launch day)
Molten Hot Dog will probably be at Walmart. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt to ..uh...whoever that was that told us about it. Curious to see if it'll be in a single or battle pack. My money is on the battle pack to encourage people to buy it at Walmart.
Scarlet Ninjini being a Giant makes me consider Gamestop or Walmart. I'm leaning towards Walmart which would complete the "Big 3" each having a giant exclusive to their store.
Jade Flashwing is a bit harder to say. I don't honestly know what to think for her. Maybe some sort of convention exclusive that ends up being sold online as well? Hopefully not.

Nothing saying they can only have two. Walmart had the GitD Starters and the GitD Sonic Boom, but is getting (at least) Molten Hot Dog.

Yeah, I don't think any certain store should get more than one exclusive when it comes to ingame variants.

Gamestop has Royal, Target has Granite, Gnarly is mass, and Punch is mass. They should give one to Walmart, one to Best Buy, one to Toys R Us, and one to Amazon.com.

Are you counting the Legendaries as variants? Because I'm pretty sure that TRU has three legendary packages in Giants alone, and two for Spyro's Adventure.

I am only counting the 8 ingame variants when making my statements, not the legendaries.

So, like TRU got Blue Bash last year, I could see them getting an exclusive that is outside of the realm of legendaries, which I think they get because they are a sister company to Activision/TFB.

So perhaps Molten could be Walmart, Polar could be Amazon, Jade could be Toys R Us, and Scarlet could be Best Buy.

Why even speculate WHERE the variants will be exclusive? Does it really matter? For those of you that collect the variants, you will go wherever they are. I don't see the point in guessing.

If it happens to be a convention exclusive (which makes no sense since they are listed in the game guide) i wont feed the scalpers, just not worth it. Besides, if i really want one that bad i will just repaint the normal one. LOL

Jade: walgreens

Polar: rite aid

Molten: mcdonalds happy meal exclusive

Scarlet: kroger.

I think it is important to stress that EVERYTHING in this thread is speculation. Molten Hotdog is a sure thing for Wal-Mart the exclusive figure signing is scheduled to arrive during the 3rd week of March and another member of the site has already posted the UPC for the figure. He will be shipped twelve to a case just like GITD Sonic Boom was.

In addition I doubt that Best Buy will receive any of these figures as the exclusives to the stores carrying them require a larger agreement fee then the regular figures. Best Buy is having economic issues and this is unlikely the best use of their resources.
