Instead of Spyro usuing the same Malee attacks they are quite different and seems like there is no limitation like the first two. Spyro still seems like he can do the knock up malee attacks (a bit differently) so nothing is really lost from the first two either.

It looks amazing!! I saw a bit wen Cynder sort of picked a creature up and attacked it in the air and she got loads of hit point things. It looks fun!

LOLL!!! Yea I bet the slo-motion combos will last tem miniutes!!! Because the combos got longer in the eternal night so theyll be longer here!!!!!!

well if my slow-motion combo lasted 10 minutes, i would stop! the enemy would probably be dead about 1 minute into the combo!

I don't know yet. I hear the Wii isn't as good as PS2/3 or 360.

I don't I will like it, but seeing as he's as big as the dragons in the first Spyro game, I think it will be quite different.

You know, I remember seeing one scene where by you press a button to escape inevitable death, and seeing that, I think God of War. In fact, this game might entirely be a copy of it(not in a bad way).

In the last 2 games all you have to do is use the ground melee and the air one, but in this game it has loads of different moves like when spyro was bashing enemies and swinging then around.

I hope one of the moves involves whacking enemies with the dragons tails, much like how Cynder did in ANB.

So is it like unlimited combat? or is there a limit??
But any ways 10 out of 10! I stand by Spy-spy's side better or for worse.

Nope. The combat sucks. It's not God of War. Spyro (Back when I was four) use to be colllecting gems, dragons, egss. etc. All you do in TloS series is just hit and run away. It gets so boring! What else can you collect, oh gems, but leveling up your attacks? WTF?
Spyro was never meant to be like Kratos.
Over all, I like the combat play, but not with Spyro.

Spyro and Cynder are whoopin ass in this game so 10/10 A+ whateva.

Eh, I was really disappointed when I saw the gameplay demo, I'll give it a 3.5/5, it looks kinda awkward, and Spyro's breath attacks just don't look right

Well, I will admit the first two 'Legend' games combat could get boring, but they can't do much with it while trying to make it "Kid friendly," too.

DotD's looks way more diverse, interesting, and harder. I think they took it up a notch (or two) and made it a whole ton better.

Not only have they made combat better, but add some nice, new, features, too. Such as Free Flight, (No more gliding!) Co-Op with Cynder, and more 'modern' looking graphics.

I was the same way with the breath attacks too in the beginning. It grew on me though, and sadly not for you...

How do Spyro's breaths look in this game? I've seen fire, but since I can't watch the gameplay videos I haven't got to see much else.( I hope earth looks less..mucousy)

If that's the case, 4/10 for the Wii. I'd say maybe a 7/10 on the PS3.

The Wii is less of a gaming console and more of a toy, IMO. I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't capable of housing all of DotD's moves. It wasn't made for things like that...

The motion controls might help a bit for attacks and cut the wii some slack.

I'm liking the quick time events, reminds me of Resident evil 4 and the combat is reeking of God of war (WHICH IS AWESOME)
