Who should I buy? [CLOSED]

I am torn for who I should buy. I want to buy either S2 Gill Grunt or S2 Lightning Rod, but I really don't know who to buy. Can somebody help me?

s2 lightning rod he's still kinda hard to find in some areas. but tbh just buy whoever you thinks look cool and have fun with. gameplay you can.check youtube and see what fits your gamestyle.

Whichever you like better. smilie has a pretty cool wow pow. i haven't gotten smilie's wow pow so I don't know how good it is yet.

Depends on what you're after. Gill Grunt has a better sculpt and physical figure, one of the more intricate and detailed characters available by far. On the other hand, in-game, Rod's Wow Pow does more to compensate for his S1 weakness than Gill Grunt's. Basically, if what you want is the cooler toy, get Gill, but for a better character, Rod.

His Triple Anchors (more like Tridents) can work similarily to SOul of the Flime Ignitor, if you're really close you can hit your opponent with 2 or even 3 of the anchors and double/triple the damage, compensates for his very low armor.

Because Rod is nothing without that medium-range attack, and Gill Grunt still blasts away fine with just his hose and one harpoon. It's very powerful, don't get me wrong, but the character is far from crippled without it. In fact, he performs about the same; will win and lose most of the same matches. Meanwhile, Rod's Wow Pow opens possibilities for him that don't exist at all without it, including a slew of PVP wins that the S1 version just gets annihilated against.
