This is actually what commericals want you to think. The goal of commercials isn't to make you buy products. It's to make you unconditionally think about their product. Which in turn makes you not notice smaller brands so you're more likely to not buy a competitor.

finally saw my new birbo take a drink and eat im so relieved. i have so much anxiety about birds since losing willow and the bird my boyfriend surprised me with for christmas. idk if i ever said it here but he wanted to surprise me with a bird last christmas and the poor thing passed away after a few days. her name was pickles. i brought her to my work and my boss arranged a necropsy for me. basically petsmart sold me a sick bird. she was moderately underweight and was very sick by the time he bought her. the problem with birds is that they hide their illnesses well until the end. i had a feeling something was very wrong because she was all of a sudden very affectionate. we played together for a good bit and i gave her lots of snacks. but then i noticed she was perching on two legs and not one. i beat myself up for not taking her to the emergency vet but i just thought i was paranoid. and i dont think there's anything they could've done for her at that point. i checked on her multiple times all night. the next morning she was gone. just a terrible situation. so i want to do my best for sunshine and give him the world. i failed willow and i'm not going to make the same mistake again. sunshine has already been through two owners so for sure he's at his forever home.

That's horrible thunderdragon, but I hope Sunshine has lots of good years under his belt still!
