I know people love emerald kaizo but I don't really think it's that fun. I like how renegade platinum or blaze black does it by making it so the trainers have better teams. But emerald kaizo just forces you to have a certain team to counter a gimmick. Needing documentation to play the exact same way the modder wants is not fun.

I want to get back into reading but every book premise feels so exhausting. I just want to read a mundane contemporary drama and not Henry time travels to a dystopian world where Anime is Real. It feels like there is a huge emphasis on being original to the point where the actual book sucks ass. Maybe I'm just looking at the wrong recc lists.

I started reading more factual and optionated books like "forget the Alamo" and "think again" that is pretty much just a lecture but in book form. I can't get really into books with fake psudeo made up words with lore and what not. I have comics for that lol

I got invited to a DS user's wedding in January and man I'm so excited. All these years I've been here I've only met one other person from DS in person! (though im still in denial that people my age and younger are getting married already sob)

Yep same boat here, I love manga and comics but books just don't feel as good for fictional stuff . I'll give the books you mentioned a look.

Yep I'm 23! Earlier this year I was a bridesmaid in my roommates' wedding and now I'm going to this one where my friendo is a year younger aaA. Like I'm trying to survive grad school over here I can't imagine getting married at this age. <.>

My gf's side of the fam is homophobic and if we get married, I wouldn't want to overwhelm her by having most of my family show up, so our wedding might be pretty small too. All that matters is that you and your partner have a good time! Or heck invite some DS people.

I live in just the right place where I'll get to see a solar eclipse on Saturday, and another one next April, and I think that's pretty cool.

Holy crap emergency vet bills escalate so fast. My poor cat went in for an emergency and I'm already down $3500. It'll probably be around $4000 total once it's all over. This one visit decimated my savings. Of course I'd do anything to make sure he gets the best care but man... I'm a broke college student and this has been giving me so much anxiety... :c
