captain flyn ship curse [CLOSED]

only curious been hearing in the whole game that his ship its cursed if it was we would see a bad guy or something by now

monklen:we like to see guest here but theres a curse on ur ship we don't need anymore bad luck?

Is that the guy in the Spyro Trucker Hat?

I've finished the game (twice), and nothing comes of the ship's curse, really. Except maybe the Aerial Attack level perhaps. To me, it seems that Flynn has made a bit of a negative reputation for himself, to the point where some people see his ship approaching and react with dread, and some of the Mabu have turned that into "Well, this bad experience must mean his ship is cursed. Bad things happen when that ship's around.". smilie

Or maybe the Aerial Attack really is a reference to this curse. smilie

The Dread-Yacht might be a bringer of bad luck since it got struck by lightning, gets attacked by an Arkeyan Copter and later a ghost pirate fleet, it keeps breaking apart in some places.

Also, the previous owner was desperate to sell the ship to Flynn.

No, Toys for Bob developed Giants, zebas. That means they know the story behind the Dread-Yacht and other things they created for the game. Activision had nothing to do with developing Giants, they only published it.

Er Activision is a game publisher, they don't make games they just payroll them. Toys for Bob designed the game and ideas and Vicarious Visions developed the code.
