why does my skylanders not work? [CLOSED]

My new terrafin s2 does not work it got a tiny little rids inder the orange base. that is the only thing i can see. i have tried activision support but nothing happen :-(

Did you try calling Activision? It helped me when my Stealth Elf broke last year. I got sent a new one!

Hello Jon,

Regarding your non working Skylander; If you are getting an error message that reads "The toy on the Portal of Power has a problem", please take a look at our support page showing instructions on how to reset your toy on the Portal:

If you still experience the issue after resetting a few times, please either sign into our support site or create an account, then submit a warranty claim. All Skylanders characters come with a 180-day warranty for US and 1-year warranty for UK gamers.

At my 2nd day when i first got SSA my Gill stopped working but when i was about to email activision he started working again and i never had any issue with him again.
