Old news, it was just a test, and they have stopped doing this, hence why there are no Skylanders preowned at Gamestop. Plus they would just give you 1-2 dollars for some. They wanted to give me $.75 for my Eruptor, $3.50 for Legendary Trigger Happy, and $4 for a Whamshell. The test ended as a Failure, but not for me. I ended up getting another Set of the S:SA Console Starters, $.89 each with PowerUp Rewards card, and a Drill Sergeant.

Yeah, they did it for SSA. It was pretty sucky for people that were turning in the figures, but for people buying it was generally fantastic.

They had the starter guys (Spyro, Gilly, Trigg) for $5.99 at first, and then $2.99.

Oh they stopped? Damn, I was planning on getting rid of those Pesky spare Jet-Vacs I have somehow accumulated (including the Legendary one). lol

Ebay is the next best place. You may find a stray person who needs a Jet-Vac or someone who is looking to make some custom ones. Won't make a lot of money by any means but can still get rid of them.

i picked up like 3 sets of starters whengamestop was selling them, got like 99 cents each. but their prices were wacky on the other ones, i remember they had a used ghost roaster for 19.99, when the adventure pack was 19.99. wacky prices.
