Skylanders Giants - In Game Question Help [CLOSED]

When playing Skykanders Giants I have used all of my Spyro Series 1 figures and mostly all the new Giants and Series 2 figures. Question when I'm playing Giants and I hit start and go to Total Skylanders I notice some Skylanders show a dark circle but most 90% others look like they are lite up. Example I have wham shell and he has dark circle in TOTAL SKYKANDERS collection even tho I'm playing him in the game. Is this cause I haven't found his video? If not video then what else is it?

Easy. The light circles are Skylanders that you own on Giants. Go to his page, change the ownership to the Giants game. The circle should light up.
