(Note: This turned out to be a lot longer than I realized, so I'm going to be like.....quadruple posting to fit the first post. Sorry. Don't kill me. kthxbai)
Setting: The kingdom of Tellius is now at risk. 10 years ago, the continent’s ever raging war was put at an end. Laguz and beorc began to make amends to each other. Branded were no longer considered outcasts....well, not as much anymore. But tensions between the two races are taut, because either side has never really accepted the other. However, a new war is approaching in the form of an enemy called Krozk. Krozk is a pirate nation south of the continent of Tellius. Warships are approaching now. Pirates and Bandits are razing the southern part of Begnion. But not just that! Apparently Krozk have recently invaded Crimea’s northern shores. But Crimea is on the opposite side of Tellius! Furthermore, there’s been rumors that Goldoa, home of the dragon laguz, also had shores being attacked by these brutes. And they aren’t your typical pirate either. Swordsmasters and highly trained men appear to have taken over as well. Fight back! Unite or die! That is your goal.

Available Races and Classes: (Pt 1)
Beorc: Beorc are regular humans. Ingenuitive. Cunning. The Children of Wisdom according to Ashurna. They aren’t as strong as laguz, but make up with it with their powers of forging and magic. Here are the classes, should you choose to be a beorc: Myrmidon: Skilled in the art of the sword. That is a myrmidon’s only weapon and is how they live. With quick, agile movements they can strike enemy weak points easily and dodge attacks. They pretty much don’t wear armor and are built for swift attacks and dodging. (Not available [N/A] yet) Swordmaster: If a Myrmidon is good enough, it can become a swordmaster, who’s critical fury knows no bounds. (N/A): Trueblade: The epitome of the art of the sword and a Swordmaster can evolve into one given enough skill and training. Trueblades are few, but if you ever cross one, do not expect to win a duel with this master. A special skill is unlocked, known as Astra, by these masters of sword, which allows them the speed of 5 consecutive hits in an attack before an enemy can react. However it will wear down the blade a bit faster. Soldier: Firmly fitted with light armor and a lance, a Soldier is an all around class balancing both attack and defense. A Soldier carries a small buckler shield to block enemy attacks and then strikes back from above and below with it’s long reaching lance. (N/A) Halberdier: Soldiers that are advanced enough will become Halberdiers whose attacks can match great speeds for an armored unit and have deadly attack power. Shield also has more range and is sturdier as well. (N/A) Sentinel: Sentinel’s are hard to get to as a Halberdier and even harder to kill. Their shield is large enough to block most attacks and they have the strength to run with that shield and stab with amazing strength, accuracy, and speed. If you should meet one, be ready to face an armored unit that is FAST. Plus, Sentinels get a bonus skill they learn known as Impale. The opponent is stabbed multiple times in quick succession dealing quadruple damage to the opponent. Fighter: A robust strong-armed unit that while his armor is little, his axe deals powerful hits. They are high in stamina and constitution, and their speed is pretty moderate. (N/A) Warrior: Deadly Fighters whose blows are mighty in strength. However, their accuracy is somewhat lacking, but they make up for that with the strength of a hit as well being able to take a hit more than once. (N/A) Reaver: This Warrior of colossal strength and stamina is indeed a very powerful unit. If you dare meet one, stay clear of that axe, for it will cleave you in two. This berserker’s fury and power knows no bounds. Colossus is a skill Reavers are able to wield, with a spinning axe fury it will do a ton of damage to the opponent and is likely to cleave you in two. Archer: Keen of eyesight and quick reflexes of an Archer allow him to use his bow to shoot arrows into his enemy before they even approach. Archers have little need for armor. If you are an Archer, keep your distance from your enemy. However, because you don’t wield anything heavy, your quickness will help when it comes to dodging attacks. (N/A) Sniper: A skilled Archer will become a Sniper, who’s bow will sing death for their enemy with twice the speed and accuracy. Critical hits are all the more often as well. (N/A) Marksman: A Sniper will have reached it’s destination in skill wise when it becomes a Marksman. These highly skilled wielders of the bow and arrow are almost impossible to hit on the field of battle and will rain arrows like a storm into enemy weak points in the blink of an eye. As a Marksman, your range of fire even with normal bows is extended to twice as much. Also, it will learn a highly difficult skill known as Deadeye, which will strike with thrice the damage as well as incapacitate the enemy for a while—if it survives the hit first. Armor Sword/ Armor Axe/ Armor Lance: Heavily armored units slow in speed but have a super high defense and a big shield to back it up. Their attack is also above average. Not to get everyone confused but you choose one. Armor Swords wield swords only. Armor Axes wield axes only. Armor Lances wield Lances only. You must choose one or the other. (N/A) Sword General/ Axe General/ Lance General: Experienced Armors will gain higher defense and higher attack as a General now. Their defense is amazingly good, but their resistance to magic isn’t that high either. Sword Generals can wield swords as well as lances, Axe Generals can wield axes and swords, and Lance Generals can wield lances, and axes. (N/A) Marshall: The final evolution of all the Armor classes, Marshalls are tanks that have amazing ability to withstand a lot of damage as well as having such a high defense, most average attacks won’t even do any harm to it. With a flowing cape, this superior unit can wield swords, axes, and lances. The special skill they gain is known as Luna. Luna will completely negate the enemy’s entire defense and strike at triple strength dealing massive damage that is sure to give an edge in battle. Thief: Cloaked figures that rush onto the battlefield to steal weapons and then rush back. They are very adept at lock picking and dealing a little hurt every now and then with their daggers and knives. They utilize speed and stealth over power and defense, and are very good at getting out of tough situations because of their impossibility to hit. (N/A) Rogue: A talented thief will become a rogue, whose attack is stronger, and speed even higher. A rogue can disappear into the shadows and then reappear with a blade to your neck in a flash. Pity the fool who meets one without protection. (N/A) Whisper: A well-named class. Because like a whisper, should you ever encounter one, prepare to breathe your last. These highly skilled assassins can get out of any situation, and their ability to dodge is legendary, whether it’d be bow, sword, axe, or lance. Even though the dagger and knife are his only weapons, they are deadly to all that fall beneath that short blade. Whisper’s perfect a skill known as Bane. Bane will, no matter the enemy, leave an opponent barely alive, bleeding out to breathe their last. (In the game it basically leaves any enemy with 1 HP left regardless of the enemy’s stats) Mage: There are 5 different mages: Fire Mages, Thunder Mages, Wind Mages, Dark Mages, and Light Mages. These units have almost nonexistent defense but are very good for a fell swoop on the battlefield. Their magic skill is decent and are very handy to have behind the lines and attacking from afar. Their resistance to other magic is high. And the weapons they wield are respective to their mage type. (ie: a Fire Mage cannot use Thunder magic) (N/A) Sage: 5 different sages like the mage group: Fire Sages, Thunder Sages, Wind Sages, Dark Sages, and Light Sages. The next step in becoming a great magician is when Mages become skilled enough to be a Sage. Sages have more powerful magic attacks and they have devastating effect on the battlefield when placed properly. The Fire, Thunder, and Wind Sages can now use three types of magic: Fire, Thunder, and Wind though their base element will always be stronger out of the three. Dark Sages will also be given Thunder magic, and Light Sages will be given the ability to use Staves to be like a healing unit. (N/A) Archsage: Archsages are the masters of all forms of magic. Their magical ability on the battlefield is unrivaled and can effectively devastate armies. All Archsages gain the ability to use Staves as well as the respective magic they possess from the Sage class. Archsages that were originally Fire, Wind, Thunder, and Dark will gain the ability known as Flare. Flare will put the enemy’s resistance to a magical attack to zero and then deal damage. Whatever damage is dealt onto the opponent, that much is healed to the user. Light Archsages will get a different skill known as Corona. What Corona does is negate resistance like Flare, but will also half the accuracy of the opponent after leaving them completely blinded by the light.

(Pt. 2)
Priest: Healer units that are kind-hearted and caring. They use staves to heal units that are injured in battle. However they have no attack capabilities and are defenseless to all except mages, which they can resist somewhat. (N/A) Bishop: Bishops are high priests who can heal more damage units take and now have the ability to wield Light Magic as well. They are much like Light Sages (N/A) Saint: Saints can pretty much heal anything with their powerful staves and belief in their power. Their Light Magic attacks are devastating as much as their healing staves are. Cleric: A Female only class. These women wield swords as well as staves much like if you combined a Myrmidon with a Priest. However, they are still very weak to attacks and should be kept far from battle. The special sword they use is known as Florete. A light, highly prized sword because it is a far reaching as it has a magical blade attack. (N/A) Valkyrie: Valkyrie’s are mounted female units and the evolution of Clerics that have reached a high enough skill level. They move quickly on the battlefield with a magical sword singing the deaths of their enemies and the healing of their allies. They learn a valuable skill called Sol, allowing them to deal triple damage to their opponent and then heal themselves as much as the damage they dealt. Knight: There are 4 types of knights: Lance, Axe, Sword, and Bow Knights. These mounted units are a great for rushing an enemy and then retreating back to where the enemy can’t reach them in time. These units are armored and are a very all around class in general. (N/A) Paladin: Superior Knights of justice and order, these wield their weapons respectively like the Knights and have heightened states to execute great strategies in taking down the opponent. (N/A) Gold Knights: Blade Paladins and Axe Paladins will finally reach the height of their perfection and become Gold Knights. These Knights are the stuff of legend in gleaming gold armor wielding Axes and Swords to deadly efficiency. They also learn the active skill Sol, dealing triple damage and regaining the same amount of health as the damage dealt. (N/A) Silver Knights: Lance Paladins and Bow Paladins reach the level of Silver Knight as an experienced Paladin. Silver Knights are utterly amazing as they deal swift death to their enemies and are a match for any other unit that comes at them. They wield the Bow and the Lance giving them versatility added to their amazing skills. Sol is also given to them, triple damage, triple heal. Pegasus Knight: Units whose mounts are Pegasus allowing them to travel great distances over difficult terrain and then unleash aerial attacks on their enemies. They wield lances. Beware of archers though. Archer classes are the bane of the flying unit. Beware Wind Magic too. (N/A) Falcon Knight: Their mounts now become alicorns and their speed in the air is unmatched. Falcon Knights ride the wind swooping down for clashes using sword and spear and then swooping up out of the enemy’s reach. (N/A) Seraph Knight: A holy warrior riding upon a serene mount, come to deal judgment upon the land. Seraph Knights wield swords and lances, flying steeds will impale enemies upon their horns while the riders swoop down with flashing blades killing their opponents swiftly, and accurately. They learn the special skill Stun which deals triple damage and will paralyze their opponent for a long time if it doesn’t finish them off first. Dracoknight: When dragons and riders form a team, there is nothing they cannot accomplish. Dracoknights are very powerful and wield axes to deadly precision as a testament to that strength. Their speed is somewhat slow, but they have pretty high defense as well. And as a flying unit, they have a wide range of attack. There is nowhere save when one of these take the skies. However, as a Dracoknight, beware magic, ESPECIALLY THUNDER MAGIC. Or you and your drake will be nothing more than a pile of ash. (N/A) Dragonmaster: When you hear one roar, count yourself as good as dead. Dragonmasters are experts at flying up and dealing devastating killing blows even if surrounded. They wield axes as well as lances and are very deadly with either weapon. Put “Haar” somewhere on your character sheet (N/A) Dragonlord: All tremble in fear at the sight of this monstrosity. Rider and Dragon have reached the best of their bond and are an ultimate weapon of destruction and deadly power. They learn the skill Stun, dealing damage that will definitely kill, but if it doesn’t, leaves them paralyzed for LIFE. Rawr. (Man that was long! D: If you want to be a beorc, you can start fashioning your character sheet now. If you want to be a laguz, wait a bit as I.....catch my breath. Laguz classes COMING SOON!)

(pt. 3)
Laguz: Laguz are half human, half animal. Known as the Children of Strength. For they can transform into powerful beasts and wreak havoc with incredible strength, speed. Laguz can transform into their beast form for a while, but it takes a huge amount of energy to stay in that form for a very long time, so they must revert back to normal after a while. A long standing war was between the Laguz and Beorc because none really accepted the other. But…don’t you ever call a Laguz a sub-human. As fitting as it is, that is a racial slur against them. Laguz bloodlust runs high sometimes. After a taste of battle, it’s difficult to hold one back even after the battle is over. Beorc used to enslave them for this. They produced a drug that heightened it and made them turn into Feral Ones. The drug allowed them to stay in their beast form constantly. However, it makes them lose their mind and dramatically shortens their lifespan. The drug is now banned thanks to the efforts of those who stopped the war, and the destruction of Tellius itself. Most laguz live in tribes where they fight in a simple system of honor and strength. Here’s a little clip of that war to get you guys a little more familiar with Laguz: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPc_G7KC-Ss –Beast Tribe: Cat: Lithe experts of speed and skill, Cat Laguz are the fastest of the beast tribes, big cats who, while their claws aren’t as strong as the other members of the beast tribe, they can swiftly dart in, take an enemy down faster than you can blink. An expert Cat Laguz that powers up using a Satori Sign will learn the skill Rend. Rend does five times normal damage, a furious barrage of armor-cutting slashes while the Cat latches onto it’s opponent. Tiger: Tiger Laguz are not what you want to meet. Long, sabertooth fangs can sink through armor and tear flesh right out. They aren’t as fast as a Cat, but they are just as deadly with heavy blows and the ability to take a lot of damage. With a Satori Sign, Tigers learn the unique skill Roar. Roar will triple the user’s strength and then immobilize the opponent for a while. Lion: The strongest of the beast tribe, Lions dominate the battlefield with superior strength and defense of pretty much anything. They. Will. Kill. Also, if one is skilled enough with a Satori Sign, they also learn the skill Roar. Wolf: Wolf Laguz are probably the most all around stats of beasts. Not much is known about them because they live far off from Tellius, but this much is known: They are Laguz. They can fight. They are deadly and fast when it comes to killing. Plus they’re smart, which is a very big advantage as a laguz. Their special skill with a Satori Sign is known as Savage. Savage triple’s this laguz’s strength and halves the enemy’s Skill for one turn—if the enemy survives that is. –Bird Tribes: Hawk: Hawk’s are very, very accurate. As a flying unit, they already have a distinct advantage against the enemy. They can quickly swoop in, take an enemy out and fly out of there. Beware of archers and wind mages, for those are the worst to encounter for any bird. Experienced Hawks, when a Satori Sign is found, will learn the skill Tear. Tear will triple your strength, and half the enemy’s speed. However, you probably should ignore the secondary effect. Hawks can have very high attacks. Survival against this skill is only single digits. Raven: Ravens are much like the Hawks, yet there’s always been a rivalry between them. Ravens can be faster than Hawks cause they’re smaller and have higher resistance to magic, but Ravens lack the skill, strength and defense that the hawk tribe has. They will also, given enough experience and a Satori Sign, learn the skill Tear. Heron: The most peaceful of all Laguz, Herons are angelic beings who practice seid magic, boosting their allies in a fight, healing, affecting performance in battle. They don’t fight. They are a peaceful tribe. They do this by singing songs and can be a keystone in battles. Herons are pure, masters of the mind as well and can see into a person’s heart. Their presence is a very comforting effect. –Dragon Tribe: The dragons have tried to remain neutral on all areas of war. For when one is unleashed, the whole tribe will bring destruction upon everything. They are probably the most powerful of all. There are three types of dragons: Red, White, Black. For what you should know, though, is Black dragons signify they are from the line of Deghinsea, the deceased Dragon King. They are the most powerful of dragons. Their special skill is called Ire dealing a devastating beam of dragonbreath dealing a ton of damage to the opponent. Make your peace with whatever you believe in when you encounter one as a foe. You will not live the day through.

Blade of Crimea: Amiti
Name: Darrin Gender: Male Age: 53 (appears to be in his twenties) Appearance: In ether form, a scar is visible over his left eye. His modified Demi Band appears as a solid thick gold cuff around ether his left wrist or left talon. Human form - In his human form, he's average height and has dark blond hair. He has hazel eyes and wears leather armor for light protection. His wings are a light tan. Hawk form - His hawk form has light tan and white feathers. Medium tan tribal marking are visible on the inner white part of his wings. As a hawk, his eyes are still hazel. Personality: Due to his past, Darrin tends to be cautious around Beorc. The war and his enslavement effected him deeply and left him with feelings of resentment towards them. He can be brave when he needs to though and can be quite loyal to his friends. If told to do something (partially carrying messages), he'll often do so with great haste. If he were to make a mistake, he would be quick in apologizing and accepting punishment. This is most likely an after effect of of his days in slavery. Laguz or Beorc: Laguz Class: Hawk Home: Phoenicis Other: During the war, he was enslaved by one of the Beorc generals and used as an messenger. He was forced to wear a modified Demi Band, meant to represent his enslavement and shock him when needed. After the war, he was freed and the shock component of his Demi Band was disabled. The Demi Band, itself, still remains and thus allows him to stay in his hawk form for prolonged periods of time. During his time in slavery, he would often be punished if he didn't deliver a message fast enough. As a result, he learned to specialize in speed and has become faster than most hawks. Though his Demi Band no longer has control over him, only his Beorc master knew how to remove it. Unfortunately, he was killed near the end of the war. Darrin appreciates the Demi Band for its usefulness but it also serves as a constant reminder to his enslaved past. To make things worse, the actual shock component is still there. It's merely turned off and theoretically could be turned back on again. If someone were to do this, they would be able to enslave him again. In this way, the Demi Band acts both as a blessing (ability to halfshift) and a curse (possibility of re-enslavement). Haar |

Laguz were enslaved throughout history, but never on a large scale. It wasn't any certain period. The war came between Laguz and Beorc and only after that slave-keeping of a laguz became absolutely illegal.
Btw, fun fact: The racial slur Laguz (esp. enslaved Laguz) used on Beorc is 'human'. However, it's pronounced the same way Beorc call themselves 'humans' so they could be racist without offending the race. .....I don't really know how that works but hey, I stumbled across that info in the game.

Overall your character is good, but you did forget something and I do really need you to look over the section about Fire Emblem Thieves I put up. It's just a suggestion, but based on Kati's nature I don't think Thief would fit her as well as a more....damaging class.

I have no qualms about your character. Nicely done!
Alrighty. So far we have 3 from Crimea 2 from Phoenicis 1 from Gallia 1 from Bengion. I have yet to make my character, but for this I have two choices how to start. Choice 1: The sea border of each country will be separately attacked by low-level bandits around your area where you are originally from. Gain some exp, everything's good. At first this goes unnoticed. Band together in your area, but then the enemy grows overwhelmingly powerful and your town is lost. Fortunately you manage to evacuate most of the civilian folk. With this now, your character(s) are drafted into the militia where you fight your own battles and then somehow meet up. Choice 2: You are already assigned to the militia and we all meet at say.....Telgam. From there, the armies of the countries join together to fight, but before the meeting begins you are all ambushed. Your job is to protect the leaders of the meeting. However, <insert meeting place here> is lost and you must retreat out of there. You form a small band out of your decimated army forces, new friendships are forged here between the races. Said leaders are captured and held hostage. Your mission is to rescue them. Or would you rather have Choice 1 lead into Choice 2, which is what I might decide. The downside is it'll be harder for me to keep track of all of you if we all start out separately. I can manage, but I just won't put in a character yet. Btw, I probably should have put this in the first post, but the Krozk have already taken Asmin, the west side of Daein along the coast of Oribes, Canteus, Tatana, and the small island south of Goldoa and west of Phoenicis.

The easiest way would be to use choice 2, but assume that choice 1 already happened. This would save you the trouble of managing everyone separately while still allowing the events to happen. It would simply be an assumption. However, the proposed third solution would be quite interesting. Perhaps choice 1 could happen and then we time skip to choice 2. Of course, we could do exactly as you propose without any skips. The choice is ultimately yours though.
Proposed Events: Low-level bandit attacks [Bandits], Town attacked & lost [Town], Varied militia battles [Militia], Meeting lost & leaders taken [Meeting] BOLD = Actually happens and we experience it, ITALICS = We assume it happened Full Merge: [Bandits] > [Town] > [Militia] > [Meeting]___| Full Experience 3/4 Merge: [Bandits] > [Town] > [Militia] > [Meeting]____| 3/4 Experience Partial Merge: [Bandits] > [Town] > [Militia] > [Meeting]__| Time saver Assumptions: [Bandits] > [Town] > [Militia] > [Meeting]___| Easy way As awesome as the "Full Merge" would be, a "Partial Merge" would probably be best. If you wish to avoid managing us separately at all, the "Easy Way" would be the way to go. |

I feel confident enough to do the whole thing. Besides, I don't have a character to worry about until then.

Alrighty. We can start now.
*Crimea and Bengion* You are in the village, enjoying a peaceful day. It is late in the afternoon. One of your scouts shout out to the village. "INVADERS! MAKE READY THE DEFENSES!!!!" And being able to help, now everyone is scrambling about. Good luck. A small army comprising of mostly Fighters and Myrmidons are attacking. However, enemy archers are already taking positions as your town militia is scrambling about. *Phoenicis* Early morning the same day. You are rising from bed to find out that invaders are attacking the borders of Phoenicis. The battle has already started! You fly to aid your brothers and sisters in battle. Beware. The enemy has seemed to have acquired a large number of young wind mages and archers have already fallen many of your comrades. Light-footed myrmidons with swords charge on the ground. Defending would be very costly. Strike hard, strike fast. Kill them before they kill you. That is your only way out of this. *Gallia* Gallians are losing ground to this well-organized bandits. You are in town of Gebal in charge of helping reinforce the defending Gallian army with supplies under Commander Kyzer, a brown cat with a fierce and intimidating character that leaves even the strongest beast trembling despite his size. However, your convoy of supplies is attacked at Gebal. An army of mainly myrmidons ambush and surprise attack. Use your superior strength to take them down! Watch out! There are fire mages attacking as well. Take them out quickly or you won't see another sun rise! ooc: SHOOT! I totally forgot this. >.< Putting it in first post. Wind magic is REALLY supereffective against Pegasai and Bird Tribes Thunder magic is REALLY supereffective against dragon laguz and Dragon Riders Fire magic is REALLY supereffective against the Beast Tribes. The weapon tringle goes This just affects your chance of hitting. Axes can hit lance people better, lances hit swordsmen better, swordsmen hit axe people better. Er...easier. There is also a magic triangle which goes like this: (sorry, no pic...D Wind is strong against Thunder Thunder is strong against Fire Fire is strong against Wind The second magic triangle includes Light and Dark magic in this: (Anima means all three of the other magic triangle) Gee, sorry guys! This completely slipped my mind!

Penna Screo changed to her hawk form and flew off to help her kind. She was confidant in her skills as a fighter, but at the same time, she wished Barbarus was there with her. She just felt safer knowing he was around to fight alongside her in battle. And she knew he would worry about her, just like she was currently concerned about him. But she couldn't focus on that right now. A battle had started, and she needed to think clearly and be cautious of the wind mages and archers. She fixated her gaze on one of the archers. Then she swooped down at top speed, talons and beak ready to take out her target.
Barbarus Ferocia had just been relaxing about, chatting up a storm with other Laguz and boasting about his skills as usual. But when the battle began, he was quick to change into his lion form, more than ready for a fight. He let out a roar, and rushed towards a fire mage, claws unsheathed to take him out quickly. Being the protective type that he was, he wouldn't allow those fire mages to kill his kind. He just wished Penna was there to fight with him, and keep an eye out for him. They made a good team. And he was worried about her well being. But they would have to meet up later. Right now, he had a fire mage to kill.

*Phoenicis*
The archer had shot and missed a target, and was now refitting an arrow into his bow, taking aim at Penna. His bow grew taut just as she was on top of him. The other birds, however, were faring quite badly. They managed to hold them off for most of the time, but it cost them many avians. Dead crows and hawks lie strewn everywhere while archers and myrmidon and wind mages swiftly weaved their way through, gaining ground in the open forest of this island. *Gallia* The fire mage didn't stand a chance. Barbarus had come way too close and too fast for him to react. However, another fire mage was casting, covering for his friend. He read his tome, the air around Barbarus began to grow hot, but then everything cooled off, not even leaving a single piece of fur singed on Barbarus. Commander Kyzer had his jaws in that fire mage's neck, blood dripping freely. Now the swordsmen came, brandishing their swords. 5 to be exact locked onto Barbarus and Kyzer. Kyzer yowled to his comrades. "Fight! Don't them burn us! Burn them! Fight for Gallia!" He roared, leaping on top of one of the houses. An arrow shot toward him, yet he was swift enough and leaped clear of it.

As Darrin awoke, he thought 'That's just great... a battle.' After his previous experience, battles had a habit of bringing him bad memories. Regardless, he half-shifted (Demi Band) and joined the fight. He spotted one of the other archers, whom was reloading, and struck with great amounts of speed. Though he didn't feel confident in his skills as a fighter, he was confident about his speed.

His attack worked well. The group of archers were caught completely by surprise by Darrin. They were just the scouts though, and an advanced group was approaching. They were Swordsmasters that surrounded a group of Snipers as body guards. Even for the quickest hawk, it would be suicide going up against a force like that. And they were just about entering the city. ooc: Wait, redwes, do you know about Halfshifting in Fire Emblem?

OOC: I've been reading through the wiki and know that it supposedly halfs your stats. The part about the extended transformation interested me and thus I added it to my character. I'm not sure how it effects normal (aka full shift) transformations and I'm not exactly sure what the bonus stats are, but it matched my character's backstory.

Penna's keen eyesight caught notice of the archer's bow growing taut. If she was not careful, she would be hit for sure, and so many avians had fallen already. She maintained her top speed, now going into a series of zigzagging movements. But she never lost sight of her target. She closed in on him, while trying to throw off his aim. It was risky, but she couldn't back out now. Penna extended her talons, ready to strike.
Even more pumped up now, Barbarus let out a thunderous roar. He quickly chose his next target, another fire mage, and hurried to attack.

OOC: That actually makes perfect sense Pixilism and I suspected something like that. Thank-you...
As soon as Darrin finished off the archers, he noticed the impending forces. He quickly flew back up and out of dodge.'Oh crap... I don't stand a chance against those forces!' He saw that they about to enter the city and feared the worst. |

ooc: Yep! But the other downside is (in the game) Your exp. gain is halved. We don't really have to put that in for ya!
@Pix, no problema! *Phoenicis* The archer shot, and missed. Now he was completely vulnerable and scrambling to get away from Penna. Bird homes were being evacuated, but some too late! A squad of ravens and hawks flew downward at that superior force, determined to at least hold them back so the civilians could get away. Evacuation was at least 10x as fast as a beorc evacuation, but still too slow! There were very few fighters left. A hawk child lay in the middle of the street, pierced by an arrow. *Gallia* Myrmidon's at ready surrounded the fire mage protectively. A Lion could easily take one down, but could Barbarus take them down in time was the question? "Barbarus! Move back!" Kyzer roared. An arrow pierced Kyzer's hide and whatever he was going to say next was lost as he staggered over, then got back up and bit the arrow out of his pelt. He looked pretty ragged and now bleeding.

Penna wouldn't let him escape. She let out a fierce screech and closed in on her target. She clawed and pecked at the archer mercilessly. Once he was out, she flew up high, out of harm's way. She went back into a zigzag move pattern, careful to dodge any possible attacks while she scanned the battlefield a moment. She noticed others holding back the superior forces so that the civilians could escape. Penna knew she had to help. She let out another screech, and swooped down at top speed to help hold back the forces.
Barbarus heard the commaned, or at least part of it. He moved back as he was told, and took his stand beside Kyzer. "Are you alright, sir?" He asked. He kept an eyeout for any more attacks, ready to help his commander.

Darrin flew over the city and was saddened to see its downfall. He spotted the child and flew down to it. Poor thing... He looked at it, hoping for a miracle, and looked back up at the squad of defenders. Assuming the poor child didn't somehow survive, he was prepared to help hold back the forces. It was shame to see his city like this...

*Phoenicis*
The archers and swordsmen were talking to each other, highly trained, and very good as a team. They saw Penna coming. Three snipers from that force shot at her. One of the arrows hit hit her leg, disorienting her balance, one missed aimed right for her eye, and the other shot right through her left wing, dislodging feathers and hindering flight but not drawing blood. More of the ravens that battered against this force were falling fast. An enthusiastic myrmidon charged at Darrin, jumping up and slashing his Steel Sword at him in an uppercut. Suddenly, a fierce and mighty screech shakes the area. A faraway figure approaches quickly. It's a very, very large hawk. And green too. *Gallia* Right in front of Barbarus's face, the space where he just was at burst into flames! The flames died down. Kyzer nodded. "Don't worry about me until all the enemy is dead. Here's what to do. I'll create an opening, and you take down that mage. Move!" Kyzer growled, leaping into action.....literally! He pounced from at least 5 meters away, and his speed quickly brought down a Myrmidon guarding the Fire Mage. He knocked down the others. "GO!"

Penna had moved her head, allowing the other arrow to miss her completely. She let out a screech of pain as the other two arrows hit. Using her right talon, she carefully pulled out the arrow in her wing. Then she did the same for the arrow in her leg. She still wouldn't be able to move as swiftly now, though. She began to make her way to a safe place to rest, when she heard the mighty screech. Penna turned to catch a glimpse of a green hawk approaching.
Barbarus let out a mighty roar as he charged ahead, leaping at the fire mage, claws and teeth at the ready. He wasn't quite as fast as Kyzer, but he surely had the strength to take down that mage.

ooc: No problem. And for everyone to know, I'm trying out the dice method. I'll be rolling two dice three times. For most attacks it'll be 7 or higher, hit, 6 or lower, miss or bad. And I wonder where's Rio? Pix, I'm going to hold of Crimea just for a little bit to see if Riolu-Blue can post.
Right. I'll move ahead once everyone from that certain area posts. Just so we don't leave anyone behind. *Bengion* Success! The arrow shot right into his skull, killing him instantly! A myrmidon spotted you and is shouting in some garbled tongue to his comrades. The town militia pushed back the bandits a considerable amount and were now regrouping for the attack.
