As a father, I appreciate seeing posts like this one where the father and son are able to bond over Skylanders. Not my favorite Skylander shelves, but SUPER creative nonetheless. Let this inspire us fathers out there, to continue to bond and make memories with our kids- especially if it's Skylander related!

thats awesome. wonder if i could get the cad drawings so i could forward them off to a buddy to use on his laser cutter.

My child knows and can point to Granite Crusher, Eruptor and Stump Smash (last two on a pillow) knows where the Skylanders are on the shelf and that she has a Spyro plush in the play pen. She's not yet 2.

AWESOME JOB!.. This will be something your son will remember for rest of his life.. GREAT JOB!.. I haven't built anything for my son but we go out collecting figures for Skylanders to complete his collection a lot and thus he enjoys it very much. Thanks for sharing pics, again great job!!

I wish I had those kind of skills, I would love to be able to do something like that for my son.

I really like that design if i had the room in my house and was still at school i'd deff. try it. The only thing with this is it will become out-dated as soon as new games and figures are released

hey guys! I just found this place and am amazed that there is such a skylanders following! Thanks to OP for sending mee this way and showing my album! I'm kinda late to the party, but ask me anything! As for backstory; I am 27 years old and my son is 6. I live in FARGO North Dakota(-35 windchill right now.) And I work at a steel fabrication shop. Hello GameMaster78, that is an AMAZING collection! Im currently at work and will try to figure out a fair price, I dont know what I put into the project total (i was working on it in my spare time). I just worry about the price to ship steel, as this stuff is HEAVY. I'll do my best to run some numbers, would anyone be interested in the sign too?

Incredible project. Top notch professional job. I opted for the Ikea display cabinets, but I'd sure would love the sign. It's days like these that I regret not taking shop or other similar trade classes---these types of skills comes in handy on a plethora of things.

I wis my dad would do that.
