I have had troubles with Skylanders Hunting ever since Thumpback and Eye-Brawl released. There has been a scalper in my area, at least I think there is. I really need any tips you can give me on hunting for Skylanders, so please, Help me.

Go on school days
Get your parents (or at least try, even though it's hard) to look for certain ones during school hours
Ask employees about shipments or reservations
Scalp yourself.
STOOP TO DA' LEVEL

Best luck I've had would be hunting before noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. Those 2 days most stores stock their shelves! Good luck

I called all my local stores and tried to talk to someone who had a clue as to what their freight schedules were. I think different areas have different shipment days and such depending on how big of city you live in and how many stores are in the area. I have 2 Walmarts and one has a truck every day that could have skylanders on it. The other Walmart on the other side of town can tell me the day they are going to get a shipment with skylanders on it. My local Target gets trucks on Wednesdays only and my Best Buy gets trucks on Mondays and Fridays. Game Stops can't tell me when they are expecting skylanders because they randomly get them dropped off by FedEx around lunch time. It's best to get a schedule of the stores locally and start there. It also helps if you can check first thing after stores get their freight. On a side note I have only once found a rare variant of anything and it's not from lack of trying. Alot of it is luck and being in the right place at the right time.
