Just got home from getting my sidekicks at gamestop. They did a return/rebuy for me on some stuff I picked up Monday, and I grabbed an iOS starter (with rdt) and an extra hot dog battle pack to make the difference up (I already have it, but wasn't interested in anything else they had).
After looking at the sidekicks, and knowing how the skylanders market is very "variant" focused it made me think of something.
There are now 3 pseudo variants of these figures.
1. Standard frito lay figures with no tag
2. Gamestop v1 with $9.99 price tag
3. Gamestop v2 with $999.00 price tag

It seems inconsequential, but I am starting to think that hard core collectors will be looking at these as "rare" variants. The tagged versions will not be as readily available as the untagged versions.

Also, the guy was very helpful to me and my daughter. He told me they had received a shipment with thumpback and eye brawl yesterday. So they have arrived in michigan officially. If you want them start looking.
