Hey everyone,
just got back from Gamestop and being out shopping all day and wanted to update on the stupid 30.00 thing. Apparently, the email they received was a follow up to the Sidekick promo and it was cut off at the top and did not mention the sidekicks, so she assumed that it was all skylanders. Manager sorted that out quick, so none of that stupidity form yesterday, I didn't want to post anyway but people asked, and it was so bizarre I loved some of your reactions they were about like mine so that is sorted. The Sidekicks, of course as I saw in another thread also are confirmed to eb the old ones, for me and many of us this is great news as we have them and I could not even imagine trying to buy 120.00 worth of stuff since I am totally caught up except for S2 Slam Bam and the new Giants (Thumpback, Eye Brawl, Ninjini) and all the unreleased. That was actually the best news of all for me, and getting Hot Dog of course. She did say though that they are now, according to the corporate email and confirmed by the manager, going to limit purchases to 2 of the same character per person to cut down on scalping. This was also good news to me as Limiting one person a certain number of the same figure, not multiple figures (which is great) is a good way to deter scalpers who want to buy all the inventory. Hopefully the Giants will be in next week. So everything worked out. I do wish the employees would be a little more informed though, but everything went great an confusion cleared up. Great day overall only Thumpback and Eye Brawl could have made it better. No stores here in my area Wal Mart, Target, got anything yet, but I did see on another thread that someone found the white variants at Wal Mart on the West Coast of FL, and me being on the east coast, probably only a matter of a few days. I'm a detail person so these things are forgivable, but really inexcusable.

so can you buy them individually for $9.99 or do you need to make a $30 purchase and then you can buy 1 for $9.99 ?

My Gamestop guy read the shipping list and the email to me. He was saying that you had to spend $30 to get one of the sidekicks free. Which I definitly won't be doing since I don't care about the old ones, I was just kind of wanting a mini jini and a eye small, lol.

No offence to anyone but y moan about these your all still going to get these in usa in the uk we have to deal with scalpers to get the champs we want
