My TRU told me today to be there Sunday Jan 13th at 10:00am for the Newest Skylanders. I was told that they would have limited qty's of single hot dog eye brawl and thumpback and maybe even light core chill and that one was a maybe on her. I can't wait to see their ad if so I am going and waiting. Thought you would like to know. Good luck on the hunt my friends.

I in error put Nov 13th down sorry about that. They told me that the new figures were delivered by ups and that they would be out for sale Sunday the 13th I can't wait. Ones they had for sure was Hot Dog singles along with Giants Thumpback and EyE Brawl and said that maybe even Light Core Chill might be in as well? They told me that there were limited qty's but to be there at open to buy them. So excited about this news.

I'm sorry, but I can't believe this. I really hate sounding so negative, but when people apply common sense, they can determine things.

Here's why I believe this info is wrong.

1: TRU employees had no trouble breaking the news of wave 3 singles for the 21st, on CAG, yet they aren't for this one?

2: Single pack Hot Dog 2 days after the release of Hot Dog in a Battle Pack? Is TFB looking to shoot themselves in the foot? Nah.

3: There are no official pics of the figures, like there was with wave 3, advertising new figures.

4: An extension of 3. NO HOT TOY ALERT EMAILS! I check my email everyday for Hot Toy Alerts for Skylanders. TRU wouldn't release new characters without email bombing customers. They do it for Skylanders, Monster High, and generally everything else.

If - and I mean IF - I am wrong about any of this, I would be wrong about them releasing Thumpback and Eye Brawl on Sunday. Hot Dog, though, I call bull easily.

Eh, I'm off this weekend. I'll drive the hour and a half to be there when they open. I'm going to call them tomorrow or Saturday though to find out for sure what time they're opening. You know how sometimes they open earlier for Skylanders.

WE will see only time will tell and I am there Sunday and if I get something I will post the pics right here for you all to see. The lady told me they were in the electronics lock up and that Sunday morning they are going out for sale. I will find out in less than 72 hours I guess?

Spoke with a "Manager". Was on hold for over 15 minutes minutes while they combed through any emails, shipment documents.

I am confirming on Jan. 13th, 2013 that when they open, they will NOT have the following items below:

NO - Eye Brawl
NO - Thumpback
NO - Hot Dog "Single"

I'm kinda lad to see the ridiculousness start for wave 3.5. Remember the guy who old is an employee showed him a thumpback back on like dec 15? Fun stuff. Don't believe anything without pics people. I mean literally nothing. We got em for w3 and well get em for 3.5. Cool your jets.

Exactly. Not calling the TC a liar, because he could have been talking to someone who knows nothing and just secondhand guesses, but there's so much working against the idea of them coming out Sunday.

I called my local TRU and talked to the manager, who I have talked to many times about when new Giants are coming out, and I asked him about any new Giants coming out this weekend and he said he knew of nothing. He said that if Activision was going to do a special release then they would come via UPS directly from Activision.

Days before, which is why this is a hard pill to swallow.

no pics over legit stock boxes or actual figures, its never true. for me to see is to believe.

Maybe it's just me, but I almost always receive these alerts the day before they are expected in stores. Since they are expected on Sunday according to the initial poster, I would hope to receive an email tomorrow.

The problem I have with this is, they are actually shrinking the size of the second skylander display at my TRU. Either they are moving it, or they are not expecting new ones for awhile. I hope they are moving it somewhere. Also, again as other people have said not calling the OP a liar or anything like that, some employees who are fed up with getting questions about skylanders or what not, will tell lies just to get everyone excited. I hope the employee was right.

I can confirm that there is no Event this Sunday, TRU has nothing in their system about an event, and most stores are still receiving restock from after xmas. For example, checked the entire store, front and back rooms yesterday and nothing with there, and they won't receive another truck until Monday, there is a possibility of a fedex shipment today, but it's doubtful

My store hasn't gotten anything yet either. I'm going to say this is a bust.

Stopped at my favorite TRU this AM, talked to people in electronics and had them look in the computer and in the back. Nothing there and no knowledge of anything going on tomorrow. I am not holding out much hope for TB/EB tomorrow..
