You can get him from Ebay for 45ish dollars. Or if you need a Wii find a store that has the Wii Bundle with it.

I broke down and bought him off of Ebay for $39.99 with $5 shipping.
It dropped a little from the $50+ that is/was the normal on ebay.

i dont need a wii and i dont want to pay 45 dollars on ONE skylander

To get my Gnarley I bought my girlfriend the Wii bundle for Christmas. Fortunately for me, she thought Gnarley was very ugly and liked "Red 'Rex" much better. I had a spare "Red Rex" from my 3DS starter kit so we worked out a deal. Remember: Relationships are all about compromise gentlemen.

Unless they decide to package him in a single pack (Very unlikely), the price will not go down much, if any.

One thing you can try and do is buy the wii bundle and try and sell the Wii for what the normal price of a Wii is, that way you can come close to breaking even.

Would it be cheaper if you bought the bundle, kept Gnarly and sell the rest?

Depending on what you do with the rest of the starter pack, sometimes you can come out a little ahead.

Thats if you can sell it for cost. As I see it:
The Wii blue bundle cost $150
The Wii system by it self sells for $91-$96 on ebay.
Skylanders Giants game with portal is going for $35-$40
-------------------------
= (roughly) $20 for Gnarley Tree Rex

Not bad that is, if your able to sell the system and game.

Of course this does not include tax/shipping charges/ebay fees/Paypal fees/Your time in selling and shipping

It's on sale for $120 at Target, so that would be roughly -$6 for Tree Rex.

But I have never seen it at my local Target. I only can find them at my local TRU.

The Wii Bundle i got at Target for $125. With the target card it came down to $118. I sold the wii for $120 and the game, portal and two figures for $40. Kept Gnarly and made myself a sweet $40 profit for future Skylanders. My opinion is thats the way to go!!

See, I'd do that if I didn't feel bad for taking Gnarly/like no one wants a wii.

Yeah trying to "flip" the wii can be risky. We all know it is a dying system. It is the cheapest system out right now. I don't think in most cases right now you would be able to make a profit from doing that, however you maybe to make up some money.

I wanted a Gnarly Tree Rex and just bought one from Ebay, as I didn't want to try and flip the wii after Christmas.

Sold them after Christmas.

Much like many have said, unless you get the system kit for 120-150 at Target/TRU OR resort to ebay like I did, your probably gonna be out of luck as far as Gnarly goes.

I broke down and got one on ebay for 39.99 Free shipping (Not bad all things considering)- I had been wanting him fairly bad too, and at the time he was going for around 120ish or so. Decided to play the waiting game cus I refused to pay that much for one single skylander.
So yeah patients has gifted me once again, I should have him Tomorrow or Tuesday. I'm pretty excited.

I actually convinced myself I'd never get one, and almost came to terms with it but broke down when I saw the one I got for such a good deal.

Just keep an eye out on ebay he's likely to pop up for a good deal sooner or later.
