Hey guys -- so TARGET has a sale going on now for the Nintendo Wii Gnarly Tree Rex edition - it's normally $150 but I picked it up at Target in the states for $120 - I think the sale ends in JAN 2013. It's pretty, I'm sad they didn't just make it a store exclusive. I want Gnarly Rex but I can't justify shelling out 120$ for it.

You can pick him up on ebay for 40-45 bucks. Or some people have been able to flip the wii and rest of the starter pack to make up what they spent on it.

Even so I feel that we shouldn't need to go through this and I won't support this practice by not buying it. If they ever release him legit though, I will.

I know why they didn't make Tree Rex a store exclusive and in his own Giants packaging. If you compare him to the packaging of Giants figures, he wouldn't be able to fit in the Giants packaging. That's why I think he was the Giant that was included in Starter Packs and why Gnarly is in a bundle, instead of his own packaging at a particular store.

I saw this video yesterday Grats on getting it for that cheap. Nice find.
I should get my Gnarly in the mail tomorrow. I went ahead and caved and got mine on ebay, but I got him for REALLY cheap considering what he usually sells for.

He looks amazing on the portal, this is the first time I've seen him on it, I'm glad he has differen coloured eyes and stuff, makes me just a little be more glad I decided to get him. (Almost didn't)- But he's went down enough in price for me to get one comfortably X3

Gnarly has to be one of my ultimate faves now. Thanks for sharing.
