In Skylanders 3, perhaps they would make all characters be in every element?Like a Fire Spyro or Water Ignitor.

why would they do that? fire spyro always made more sense to me. But the idea of stump smash for example being fire makes no sense...theyd have to re think the whole concept of that character.

Plus isnt it the purpose to have different characters in different elements so you buy more to access more in the game? Theyd lose money

I honestly think these combining element thing is stupid. I just find it weird and unappealing. I think what the might do it bring in these "elder things" if the giants are them, new lightcore, and 8 new figures.

I can see them doing it as it would make them more money to those that blindly buy every single form and figure and variant there is out there, but it's also a dumb idea.

What would be a fire Gill Grunt? He shoots a flamethrower? And if that's the case... can't the same be cause for Jet Vac?
Or Shroomboom tossing fire mushrooms in the air... somewhat like Flameslinger's move or Eruptors?

Then there's like an undead Stealth Elf which I'm not sure how she would like "life element" which is the basis of her race. Hex and Fright Rider are not the same.

Hothead I guess would shoot out icicles instead of oil gunk? Like Chill and Slam Bam already?

Sorry but this is not a good idea.

TFB still has yet to explain how the Elder Elementals (ie the Giants) possess the powers of light and darkness. In other words, I am still waiting for Light and Dark Elemental Skylanders.

^ this would be really cool! For light I can imagine an angel-like skylander or something like that.

I either want jumping on consoles, or four-player co-op. Maybe "Skylanders: Arena," which comes with an extra portal that can read another two skylanders, so both could be connected at the same time, to allow for four-player fights/playthroughs? Or maybe some karting spin-off...
