OK, so I went to play, and in Night Flight (Peace Keepers), there was some empty space in which flying height values became unlimited... I continued flying up in the glitch, and I found the level again, no obstacles but the world was there. Also, you couldn't land. Explanation, or any similar experiences? I'll try my best to get a pic, if you want...

That's really strange, I've never been able to find a space where Spyro can fly up forever. Maybe that is an easter egg? Was there anything to collect, or shoot at up there?

There's a glitch like that in Spyro 2 and 3. When doing the swimming glitch, if you swim too far out, you sometimes find another copy of the level.

Yeah, I've seen the mirroring when you go out of bounds in Gateway to Glimmer, since that's the easiest to do it with thanks to the double jump glitch. <.<;

o.0 oooaaaahhhh, I remember when I was a kid I found a copy of Winter Tundra's world when I Felt out of the world, suddenly I just watch the whole world from above and I died. I was scared when I saw it because I didn't did anything wrong, I just fell out by accident and that happends.

I think the reason why there is a duplicate of the level is because when you finish the game and you see the credits, the camera is touring around that "duplicate" of the world, and that's why none of the portals are turned on in this scene.

The credits are not the only place the duplicates are used. They are also used whenever you listen to a dragon. You can tell this is the case because the enemies disappear when the dragon is released.

And any of the other collectibles as well, like the gems, egg theives, extra lives...
Weird, clever how Spyro is still left in the same spot after the cutscene has ended as he's no longer in the "duplicate" version afterwards. So maybe when it flashes white, it probably teleports Spyro in a split second?

The whole cutscene explanation totally makes sense! I knew there were copies of worlds in the Spyro games, but I never knew why. Also the whole lack of portals when talking to dragons seems like proof. Very interesting! smilie

And sometimes, even, just the portal entrances appear. I remember once when I did the swimming glitch in Winter Tundra, and, like all the other levels, there was a copy far above the platform, but instead of seeing an exact copy of the world with missing portal entrances, JUST the entrances would appear. Strange. I love that concept of it being used for the credits though, very clever. I never thought of that before. smilie

Never really paid so close attention to that stuff so that my eyes burst end, but I did the whole thing with the swimming glitch, though.
