I saw 2 Flashwings with a broken wing, and 2 Gill Grunts off of their bases. And the weird thing is that I read about those two errors, and saw pictures that looked like exactly what I saw.

Did you get any? I know certain collectors love this kind of thing. The best error (and only one) i've seen was where smilie S1 was missing his mask, and I saw a kid choose it from the shelf in TRU. o.o

I once saw a S1 Stump Smash at Toys R Us with one of the arms detached and rattling around in the package.

If all the stuff is there in the package, that's kind of neat. You could almost make your own custom with it. There was a Gilly who was like upside down on the water stream which I think would be hilarious to own just for that sake.

My only flat out figure error I own is my LC Drobot. I got him from the Target 3 pack, and he's missing his lower jaw.

We have been collecting errors--my son loves the hunt for them. We have fun doing it together. (Better chance finding errors then variants!).
We have a one eyed thumpback
One eyed flashwing
Both jade and original flashwing without one wing (not broken off in box)
Headless lightcore legendary chill
Ninjini without a bottle
One armed bouncer
A fright rider where the ostrich has pupils--(black dot in center of both blue eyes)
Sprocket without wrench
Many mislabeled --ninjini with eye brawl cardboard backing etc...
That's all I can think of off the top of my head.
If anybody is interested id gladly post pics. (Can take them with phone but need directions to upload here please)
Also-if anybody runs into these type of things--I'll reimburse you if you pick them up for me.
---
Please see my guestbook for the remaining packs I need---Any help is appreciated. smilie

I found a "broken" Fright Rider with the figure broken at the ostrich legs and the rest of the figure floating around in the box.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

I responded to your initial post in the Factory Error Thread on how to post pics:
To post a pic:
  • 1. The picture must first be uploaded to the internet ( Some popular sites are: imgur.com, photobucket.com)
  • 2. Once the URL has been generated to where your pic has been uploaded, copy it.
  • 3. Click on the "image" icon found above the comment window (the icon has the sun, tree, blue sky, and grass look)
  • 4. Paste your pic URL within the [img]HERE[img] brackets.
  • 5. Always preview first, by pressing the "Preview Reply" button.

  • I also like one of a kind Factory errors as times. Here's some from my collection that I posted in the aforementioned thread:

I've got a Flashwing with both wings broken off in the box. Seems like they use really cheap glue for her figure.

^ I saw one with a really warped wing.

DluA--thank you for picture instructions. I will try once I get my son to sleep. I'm
Just getting used to the forums here and to be honest--I forget where I post and spend WAY too much time trying to get back to places! (Duh!)
    I'm getting better though smilie
It's nice to hear others find these interesting --fun--we have had a blast --hunting!
Is this the correct place to talk about errors? I have some packaging error doubles that I'd be willing to trade too--if anybody is interested and has errors too smilie. Just PM me. We are now trying to get one error for each Giant--(just the actual giants for now-maybe it'll develop into the smaller ones too but we aren't there yet)
We need a Swarm--and a legendary bouncer and a scarlet ninjini and hot head. We don't go for little dots of glue or small paint issues because as we all know--the Skylamders are rarely perfect... Lol

@ drillsarge--yes, that is what I'm taking about--a crusher/eye brawl error would be exactly what we look for. Cool find!

You're most welcome! Inevitably, factory errors get posted in various threads, which makes it difficult to keep track of over time. For search purposes, it's always nice to have the majority of posts in one topic thread. For this reason, I would suggest posting pictures in the Factory Error Thread.

I'm happy to hear that you and your son have so much fun searching for these. Sounds like memories that will continue to endure as he gets older...

Like I said, I have 2 errors: A headless LC Prism Break (You can move his arm: you can see the wires!), and a Trigger Happy with a Terrafin cardboard back.
