IMO, continuing DoTD would ruin the series. It ended perfectly fine. The only thing I can think of that MIGHT actually be good is if they made some kind of spin-off.



Yeah, but they still don't know about Ignitus, they think he's dead. I'm, Sparx, he doesn't know if they lived. The guardians, they don't know that Ignitus is dead. Where are they now? So many cliffhangers that can be filled in.

There won't be another one. Spyro is a dead franchise.

Skylanders at this point is unrelated to the Spyro franchise, as his name was used simply to give the first game publicity. Giants barely involved him (from what I've seen). There will come a time where Spyro isn't at all in these games.

Skylanders 3 is coming out (it's just a matter of when, it seems). I wouldn't mind Spyro Classic Collection, especially considering Insomniac did an HD collection for Ratchet & Clank. It won't happen. <.<;

Ok, they do survive. If you go through ALL of the credits, it shows a movie where they fly about, presumably playing a game. tag perhaps *shrug*

If memory serves, Sony Computer Entertainment America has the rights to the Insomniac Spyro games... maybe not the character, but the games.

Considering we all know how the fabled couple care for each other, I think it's safe to assume kids at a laer date, which then you can base a story on, i.e. training, having some bad sh** happen and using them. Just brainstorming

A form of the Classics with elements from Legends would be nice. Basically a reboot like they did when starting the legend series, but just with a mixture of both Legend and Classic. I really hope they would add in the world-like open gameplay of the classics nevertheless.

I wish they'd get Krome to come back just for one more game and remake TLOS: DotD the right way...
I'm also kinda waiting for Skylanders to end to see if they'll give Spyro his own game again.
(Yes, I like Skylanders, but I still wanna see a new Spyro game with him as the main character.)

My opinion: No more Skylanders. Put Spyro in a mainstream game again, but not continuing the classics. Do something like A hero's tail.


But whatever makes Activison the most money, they're going to keep going with. >.>
