I wanted to open athread were we can all conversate and help each other with our respective Skylanders collection's. An easy place to go to when no other place on the web can seem to help.

I am still trying to find and to complete my series 1 collection. And of course,!!

I just went to my local toys r us and they had every series 1 figure! I mean it! Even boomer and wham shell!

In this big bin at tru, i found 3 wham shells.

It sounds like to me that all toys r us' are cleaning out their inventories of all series 1 skylanders that they had gathering dust in the back due to overstock in preparation for wave 3. I might have to make a run to my local store.

I didnt know about the golden dragonfire cannon until after I already bought the regular pack. Dont want to buy another pack just for the Golden Cannon, so I"m looking for one.

Nearly everything really.

Of what's currently released, I'm missing Whirlwind and S2 (non-legendary) Slam Bam. Waiting on Polar Whirlwind specifically, and some kind of sale to pick up Slam Bam.

As far as the main Skylanders: Spryo's Adventure collection, I've got every last one of them. Ahem, I mean the ones that matter. All 37 and all 4 Sidekicks, but I sold my Blue Bash, Flocked Stump Smash and Red Drill Sergeant because no in-game difference = not worth keeping. I've also got the castle case, all four adventure packs and both the Wii and 3DS portal. And a poster that is currently hanging in my office (I work at a school and the kids always freak when they stop by).

Not quite as complete with the Giants. If it is available in the U.S. currently and is unique in -game, I've got it. No sparklies, no GTID, no stone, no of the non unique in game variants. No, "special" doesn't warrant the sky high prices for these (for all intents and purposes) identical figures. I do have both Dragonfire Cannons, all the Legendaries, Gnarly, Granite,, Royal DT, all the S2 reposes, all the LCs and all the new guys. And the new Wii U, 3DS and Bluetooth (Battlegrounds) portals. Since I don't care about pseudo variants (I was infuriated that the Plat. Hidden Chest was not a true variant, despite having a new card), my collection is complete with everything that is currently available in the u.S.

As far as other merch, I've got the large stuffed Trigger Happy and the smaller, squishy Gill Grunt toy. I'll be on the lookout for the others to finish those sets, as well as the smaller plush set. I JUST finished my Giants Topps collector card set (Hot Dog foil was my final missing one) with the U.K. Master Eon card and all the TRU Legendary and GTID cards. Finally, on the Mega Bloks front, I've got all the "battler" sets and the arena EXCEPT Chop Chop (I can't find him ANYWHERE, and I'm about to resort to online to get him), and none of the other, normal sets - yet. They are my next project.

And I preordered my Scorpion Striker pack from GS yesterday. They already had them in the back, but he would give me a straight answer on whether or not they'd have any other new stuff that day (Jan. 9).

Whew. That's a lot.

I need thumpback, eye brawled, ninjini and hotdog to have all the new ones!

For S:SA- I still lack (For me to consider my collection COMPLETE)- 3 of the sidekicks (Whisper elf, Trigger Snappy and Terrabite) and Crystal Cynder (Had won her on ebay the other day but that fell through due to the seller)- so back to square one on that one.
Other than that I'm complete on as far as that game is concerned.- I also want the rest of the books/novels. But those aren't a MUST have right away.

As for S: Giants- I need- S2 Ignitor, S2 Stealth elf, S2 Eruptor, S2 Lightning rod, LC- Shroomboom and everything else that isn't currently out yet.
I also would LIKE to have some of the chase variants: Stone Whirlwind, Glitter SonicBoom, Snow Prism Break. (If at all possible)- I do have all the current in-game variants- Gnarly, Royal-DT etc. And have GITD SonicBoom, Cynder and FrightRider (These DO show up special in the game and on the online universe).
I plan to get all the In-game variants so any future ones (Molten Hot dog, Scarlet Ninjini etc).

I also need:
7" Gill Grunt, Eruptor and Spyro talking plush (Got Trigger Happy)
Plush keychain/clamp Trigger Happy, Gill Grunt and Eruptor (Got Spyro)
Large Talking/Light up plush Trigger Happy, Eruptor (Got Spyro)- The ones that come with the plastic portal keychain thinger

ALL the mega bloks sets (I have none at the moment)- Will start buying those soon.

The rest of the Topps Trading cards I need to complete my set.
Any Books/Novels that will soon come out- if at all.

A few of the T-shirts I don't have (Some are awesome) Like the one with Tree-Rex on it.

Thats pretty much it My skylanders collection is the Second biggest collection I own- My Ginga Densetsu Weed one is the biggest, but I'm sure soon Skylanders will tower over it.

All I need are the Giants variants, excluding the Rock ones, Gold Flameslinger, Glow Sonic Boom, and Glow Cynder.

Trying to get a 100% Giants collection, Special figures included.

However he is more "bronze" color then the gold one .. This was pointed out by other posters a while back..

Well the Golden Dragon Fire Cannon isn't just a change in looks. It has the same pvp map as the regular cannon, but also includes two bonus pvp maps as well. If your a hardcore collector I advise picking it up. Also the game registers them both separately.

That is me also. I want one but don't want to pay 30 bucks for it. I am looking for a clear wham shell and stealth elf also. I just cant afford the ebay prices right now. I know we are not supposed to advertise or whatever but I would pay 60 to maybe 80 bucks for clear figures.

TRU might be worth checking they are going thru the backstock of series 1 figs and you may find a clear figure. Odds are slim, but Matteomax found on last week. As far as boomer... yeah TRU and maybe wal-mart are going to be best guess besides good ol' evil bay.

I'm a brand new fan and have had a horrible time finding skylanders. I have no special variants and I'm looking for boomer and ghost roaster that doesn't cost $50. I haven't read all the rules but when people post that their store has a ton of s1 are they allowed to give locations. I have friends in Indy looking but not sure where else. Amazon had a special to buy the display for $30 and get wham shell free. Since he is going for $20 alone I jumped on that

Out of all the figures out right now I only need LC Shroomboom and I preordered/payed off the scorpion striker battle pack already
