How hard is it to find S2 Lightning rod in the USA at gamestop

As of now? Impossibiru.
Starting soon, I'd imagine he'll be as common as the rest of the guys. Right now, TRU got maybe 1-2 boxes in each of their stores, and sold out of them the first day. Now we simply play the waiting game for other stores to get the new boxes in.

I have him, got it 2 days ago.

Yeah at the moment even I've yet to find him. I've only seen 2 cynder's, 1 Prism Break and 1 Stealth Elf. And thats the only S2's from Wave 3 I've yet to see.
I'm still looking for Lightning Rod and Eruptor. I'm sure that soon (Come the 9th)- they'll be slightly easier to find.

I found eruptor at tru the only one they didn't have was him

TRU is going to be the best place you can find these. Hopefully they will be more plentiful here shortly.

I have seen at least 2 of all the wave 3 figures at retail except for lc shroomboom. they had a complete set at Gamestop and 1 & 1/2 at Walmart.

I've found LR at 2 Gamestop out of the 5 locations within 10 minutes from me (including Gamestop Kids). He'll be easy for me to find just like every other character until I go to buy him. Then he won't be found anywhere in a 50 mile radius. That's what happened with Granite Crusher...

Here in the UK we barely just got wave 2...

There was one at my local gamestop but someone bought him befroe I could get him. Just ordered one off TRUs website.

Walmart.com had him instock last I checked. Same with Toysrus.com.

Honestly the new legendaries don't look that great. But yeah I have looking for LRod and LC ShroomBoom. I have seen all of wave 3 except those two. Wave three has gotten to target, just not my local one. :/

So...remember the early launch of wave 2? That is what happened again with wave 3. They did an initial leak of 1 character in tiny quantities (Hot Head) and then they did a the heavier flow of them again a couple weeks later. I expect this same thing, but this time they will likely release Thumpback as the new giant and the rest of wave 3. I bet they take a break for a month then, and release maybe 1 special figure such as Polar Whirlwind....(for winter I suppose). This is all speculation of course. I am also expecting more releases of gold type figures at some point...maybe they will do a platinum and then a diamond version of something? Hmmm. Don't forget TRU still needs Legendary Chill. There is still a lot of content to get to us and they have to stretch it out till about 1-2 months before release of their next game. So that means things will take time. We should be happy we even get the Scorpion Pack on the 9-11th. I think the stores will get a much needed restocking in the next week...as early as Saturday even. Here's hoping. And happy hunting.

yeah hot head was impossible to find for a few weeks, now i see him every where. so lightening rod wont always be rare

I think people need to practice a bit more patience. If you go sit down and look at the pile of figures you have, you will see you have a ton of figures to play with. Sure anticipation is always great, but really, most of us haven't played through every character at this point. Heck, I've barely gotten to touch the game outside of the 3DS version. Go dig through your backlog of games you haven't played and patiently wait...or paint some figures. Or maybe go get some fresh air!

When will and be available at Target?

No one really knows Ash. My guess is tomorrow most places in the USA wont see any new stuff because it is MLK day. Which means for places like Gamestop no Fed Ex or UPS deliveries. My guess is you would see them in Wal-Mart before Target. However, I could be wrong. Just have to keep checking.

That's what I thought. I have a Target gc, and I'm broke, so I want them to be released at Target soon.
