It is almost like history is repeating its self! I was in at least 15 stores yesterday (CANADIAN) BestBUY Drobots only,EBgames(gamestop) zip ,TRU shoomboom 3 Packs, L-Elf ,Future shop Zip, Walmart GITD SB and Zip . Zip=nothing . All stores have zip or very little................. SAME thing as last Year ! shelfs were loaded at Christmas then everone got the game and the shelfs emptyed ............................will we see the same ? what is every one else seeing? and to top it off my sons Bouncer dosent light up !

That's too bad. I really don't know what to say, though. I don't think it is history repeating itself, it is just your area. All of the stores by me are loaded with all kinds of figures all the time...

I have noticed the same thing at the wal-mart where I live. However, TRU's have been doing a good job when I checked. I'll give a few more days before I make a decision on it.

It's probably just because of Boxing Day/Week. My stores have been bare since the 26th too. They probably just haven't gotten new stock yet.

Most of the stores in my area are well stocked except walmart and kmart. Although kmart is hardly ever stocked by me anyway

Most of the stores here at Vegas are empty. I have yet to see any wave three

Stores in my area are not too bad, but they aren't as good stock-wise as they were before the holidays.

I have a lot of store options. I have seen everything in decent quantities including hot head...wave 3 was limited, but saw it at multiple stores...still not seen lightcore shroom yet. Thinking a big shipment is in store for the New Years...

Good stock doesn't mean rare characters being easier. It means having something at all, weather it be a W2/W1 mix or flat out W3.

Here i have seen lots of w1,w2,and w3 skylanders. Everything but chase variants.

Give it a bit of time. I think everything will come back into stock shortly.

stores in memphis metro are well stocked. skylanders are falling off of the racks.

That's honestly surprising to me. Locally (ie, Cleveland, OH area), I have pretty much all the retailers within 10-15 miles of my house so:

Walmart: The one is connected to a mall. There was plenty of stock in there last time i checked. Mostly Wave 1 stuff though with a handful of Wave 2 guys and 3 packs (Sprocket, Gilly, and Flashwing)

Target: had everything in stock, wave 1 and 2 plus 3 Granite Crushers

TRU: Overstocked with everything wave 1/2, plenty of Legendary stock. The one I visited the other day had a few Wave 3 guys in.

Best Buy: Plenty of stock, plus a good helping of SSA 3 packs out. (I spotted Empire of Ice and Dragons Peak, plus the Drobot 3 pack)

Gamestop: Plenty of stock, mostly Wave 1 stuff though

In my area, TRU seemed to be a little low on Giants, they had loads of SSA singles, some SSA 3 packs (mostly the Camo one, great for those that never got him or Warnado), they had some Giants and Series 2 singles but not a lot. Mostly just Sprocket, Stump Smash and Flashwing. But, they are the place everyone goes to for Skylanders (for the most part), so I expected them to be low anyways - I'm sure they have more on the way. I just returned a S2 Lightning Rod and S2 Stealth Elf (I had dupes), so someone is going to have an unexpected find sometime today ...

Here is where it will probably be different this year: Last year the Skylanders craze after Christmas was unexpected, Activision didn't have the stock ready to go, and they had to rev up the manufacturing and shipping lines to catch up - that takes weeks. And as they trickled out, the scalpers made sure to keep the shelves clean, prolonging it.

This year, however, as long as Activision keeps the shipments coming (they aren't surprised this time), the stores have some old SSA figures to fill in the gaps, it will stave off the scalpers. They will still be all over anything new that comes out, but they won't be creating artificial demand. The kids I saw at the store today were thrilled their grandmother was getting them the Camo 3 pack. Most people don't have full collections, and as long as they have options, then you won't have a crowd showing up every time a shipment comes in to mop up anything and everything that comes out of the box.

I went to trs on saturday since they had a sale, and they barely had anything left. Mostly drobot and no giants.

Toys R Us, Target, Walmart, Gamestop are all OUT!

I've been to all these stores in the last week and no one has NOTHING.

But I've been able to score some Skylanders I didn't have.

All my Walmart had yesterday was one Swarm besides the starter packs. Reminded me of last year after Christmas.
