Hi! Was wondering, if say, a piece of a figure broke off, perhaps an arm off of a giant, would it effect game play/harm the data? Thanks for any help! I just wanna know

Nope, as long as the RFID chip in the bottom was not harmed then it would be okay. If one did break you can contact Activision and they will ship you a new one as long as you can provide a picture with a number in it that they provide.

When I filed a claim for my Hot Head, I didn't even have to send a photo. I just needed to give them the serial on the base of the figure. It arrived about a week later on Dec 24th.

I had to send a picture of it with a number on it. It may have been because I couldn't read the serial number on the bottom of the figure.

I had a Ghost Roaster who broke once. Filed a claim online, and yes, didn't even have to prove I owned the figure before they sent me a replacement. I hear that subsequent claims under the same name/address require a bit more stringent approval process, but they'll generally float you the first one for nothing.
