Ok first of all I apologize if this has been answered already but I couldnt find anything anywhere. In regards to the new wired portal that comes with the Giants game I am wondering how on earth you turn it off!?..lol. After finishing up the game and turning off the Wii the portal remains lit....its really annoying me. Do you have to unplug it from the Wii each and everytime you finish playing!?

try to unplug it once and in the future it make work as usual again. For me if I turn the wii off the portal also turns off

Ok that didnt seem English to me but I get that you are saying yours turns off. Why would mine stay lit on the Wii I wonder?.....anything to do with the active internet connection maybe?..i dont know.

as long as it is plugged in to a console that is switched on the portal will be switched on ... there is no on/off switch just unplug it

Looks like it is the wiiconnect24 option. If I turn that off or turn off the standby connection in the wii settings then the portal turns off when the wii turns off. If the connect24 or standby connection is on then the portal stays lit even when the wii is turned off.....strange and mildly annoying!

I just unplug my portal when i'm done and put it in my cabinet with my Skylanders. No biggie.
