t is old news. They have been running sales on these almost non stop however. So if you buy two and the the second one for 40% off then you are still coming out cheaper then the 9.99 price.

One other point, if you wait they are starting to trickle into wal-marts and gamestops.

Do you really think this will actually stop people from buying? Ummm... hate to say it, no. I know if I find them at a TRU I will still buy them.

All you have to do is tell them they are a dollar cheaper everywhere else. They do price match.

The base price per figure did go up, thats absolutely true. However, TRU runs a BOGO deal just about every other week. If you only one want character you're out of luck, but if you want two or more you're set!

US and Aussie dollars are about equal at the moment.

They did the samr thing last year with S:SA. I would still buy there if they had anyone I needed.

I'm not very happy with the price raise, even if its just a dollar. They were guilty of this last year too :/

I'm going to HATE it when Every other Retail Chain catches up with this. If the Prices continue to raise, consider me out Activision. Though they are getting EXPENSIVE, Right now there are a few retail chains that are cheap. Take JCPenney for example, Their Skylanders are on Clearance. Lightcores/Single $6, Giants $10, 3 Packs/Battles $14. That must've gotten the attention of many parents getting Skylanders for their kids. This surely caught my attention. Though there is ONE retailer that is tricking people, and that is Kohls. Kohls has decided to raise their price, BUT to TRICK the customers. Singles $12.99, Lightcores $16.99, Giants $19.99, 3Packs/Battle $32.99, but after their sale which was 25% off, They came out REGULAR PRICE! Singles were 9.??, Lightcores 11.??, Giants $14.99, and 3Packs/Battles 24.??. They must've been really stupid, but smart to trick, as I was hearing parents say, "Oh this is a bargain! For this price, and with the sale, this has to be cheap!" Though I took their attention and told them about JCPenneys sale, one Parent thanked me for helping him save money, as during these holidays, saving money is important.

Just suck it up and pay the extra couple bucks. TRU is the easiest place to get figures, and frequently offers some pretty insane deals. You pay for the convenience of a wide selection and the plentiful sales, and although I'm not above resenting the latest price hike a bit, I'll continue shopping there without question simply because it is not hard to find any figure there seemingly ever. No more running around this time, TRU's distribution simply rules.

Also, just to let you guys know after the first of the year is a general time for price increases. It will happen a lot in the next month. Things will keep going up.

...Oh no... This is... Terrible... It's not like they're still cheaper for you than anywhere else. Oh no. This is the single worst thing that could ever happen. Oh no.

I hate them cause I ordered the ssa l3 pack and got the wreckingball 3 pack. Now I must wait longer.

^ And have been getting everything first, even if only by a couple days in most cases. You pay for the convenience, and I'm actually happier to than I expected to be. Besides, I've saved way more than a few Skylanders worth of cash in gas just by going to one store, buying what I want without hunting for it at all, and then heading home.

Yeah... That doesn't seem very legit. For starters, if it was the first thing they said to you then they wouldn't have sworn.

I can't for the life of me think of a substitute for that censor. Seriously, I can think of words that they would have just said instead of adding "man" to the end, but I can't think of anything that would make sense with the word "man". Unless of course you're just overreacting and he didn't actually swear.

If you call customer support and ask why their company as a whole has raised the price of a certain product - then what do you expect them to say? That's something on the corporate level, not customer support.

You are a kid. To the guy who you called could, more than likely, tell and just assumed you know nothing about companies, business ETC to even dignify you with an answer. To tell you the truth, I would have probably yelled at you too if it was me on the other end of the phone.

When the mods are appointed this Friday, perhaps the pointless topics Sleepy keeps on making for the fun of it since he joined here, will be deleted quickly.

Also, as I mentioned earlier. It is going to be the time of year that companies start raising prices. Not to get all political or anything, you can't always blame the companies earlier. The company I work is heavily regulated by the government and from time to time we are forced to change rates due to things they do. Not saying this is the case for why TRU raised prices. We could actually see them go down after the first of the year as they may be looking to boost their bottom line for the end of the year.

It's obvious that what Sleepy said isn't tru. (pun intended)
