Wii U portal compatibility [CLOSED]

Does anyone know what the Wii U is compatible with? I have the 3DS portal (my wii one is broken) and I wanted to know if the 3DS portal is compatible with the Wii U or will I have to get the Wii U version of Giants.

The 3DS portal is an infrared, with a set amount of time it is on... no it won't work with the Wii U.

if you talk about the old 3ds ssa portal it have usb connection.. so its compatible with giants.. the 3ds giant portal is not compatible..

3DS should work if it's plugged in, but the cable they give you is so short that you'd have to be sitting right next to the system to play, or buy a longer one.

Also, all wireless Wii and PS3 portals work, as does any current-gen, clear-base Giants portal.
