3DS + Console : Upgrades? [CLOSED]

I noticed in the 3DS version, that my Swarm can shoot his yellow cross thing, but when I play him on the Wii U Version, he is at level 3, but doesnt have the yellow cross ability.
Same goes for Punch Pop fizz, I gave him a trucker hat on the 3DS version, but it doesnt show in the Wii U Vesrion.
Why does this happen?

Check their upgrades in both. In the 3DS, it is by level (iirc). Dunno about the Wii U version though.

BTW You need to rescan him on the portal so they can get their progress to rescan on the toy.

That's right. I usually re-scan my figure(s) before I stop playing the 3DS game, just in case I want to play with Skylander(s) on the console version. If you load up a Skylander onto the 3DS game and level it up, it doesn't save it to the figure until you re-scan it on the Portal.
