I have seen a post that said chill was a lightcore and legendary in one figure. If you look at the giants guide this is untrue there is a listing for both. I don't know if this has been discovered yet. If so close thread. thx

It wouldn't be listed in the giants guide as two different figures if it was one. Unless its a misprint. which it could be. Just saying.

That guide has a LOAD of misprints in it.
Terrafin's Catchphrase is "It's Feedin' Time!", while the guide mislabels it as "It's Beating Time!".

There will be three versions of Chill. The regular one that has already been released the LC version and the Legendary version. The confusion here appears to be that the Legendary version has been seen to be the same pose as the LC version. This would indicate that Legendary Chill will be the first LC Legendary. I have not seen anything to specifically indicate that the legendary is LC but its a good guess considering it is the same pose of the LC Chill that is also due to be released.

Hey, that's the idiot that scammed a member here out of a Gnarly Tree Rex and guaranteed Thumpback was going to be out Dec. 21. He hasn't been back since.

You could always bid it then report it as a scam that he only provided a normal Chill and not a Super Rare One of a Kind (Collectors Dream) Chill. Given that is how he scammed your Gnarly it would be deliciously ironic. Unlike him, you wouldn't be lying. Maybe even give him some negative feedback to add to the fun. Oh and if you do message to him, let him know we are still awaiting his post about that in hand Thumpback he guaranteed. |

That's what's been bugging me. So many people were saying Legendary Chill was Lightcore Chill and I kept thinking, wait a minute.....what about the poster in the starter? It clearly shows a Lightcore Chill that's not Legendary. So if they have two Lightcores of Chill, one as a regular and one as a Legendary, then it all makes sense! I was planning in my budget for 3 different Chills anyway, so it's all good. Now, let's cross fingers for some sales for the next wave!

On the whole Chill thing, what we know is:
Regular: Lightcore: Legendary posed as the lightcore and could be lightcore, we will not know until she is released:

Given the pose, the model already having the internal paths in the mold to support lighting, the fact that both the legendary and the lightcore are not out but regular is (since they probably make regulars and legendaries int he same run), and the fact that TRU has a Legendary of each element and a giant but not a lightcore yet, I would say chances are very high that Legendary Chill is indeed a lightcore as well.
Chill is a good choice for a Legendary Lightcore, IMHO, because she is a Newlander, doesn't interfere with pack ins like Shroomie, Pop Fizz and Jet Vac (some parents might have issues with re-buying figures). While Jet Vac does have a legendary, he is only in a three pack, so can benefit from the other two adding value. Chill as a single has to sell on her own merits. TRU would want to make this figure an attractive sell since they paid for the exclusive. |

^Since it's the same pose, that does suggest the possibility. There's definately a nice exclusive in having the only Legendary Lightcore. Thing is, since it's the only possible one (that we know of), it's harder to say if it's absolute. In any case, there's a great exuse to have Chills upgrade down different paths.

Why make a Legendary Lightcore when you can make two different figures and make twice the money? Guide has listing for both and that's what I am thinking is going to happen.

If you are talking about this guide I would take what it says with a pinch of salt. This same guide uses the same maps for Chapter 15 and Chapter 16 (see pages 212 and 219 if you don't believe me). As previously mentioned it states incorrect catchphrases for Terrafin, Sonic Boom and Drobot. Game guides are helpful but not always the best for accurate information. I have the Official Final Fantasy 7 guide that has a lot of wrong Materia and enemy locations, queue many hours of frustration trying to find everything :/

Maybe it's as simple as a prototype picture. or maybe the legendary chill is in the same pose as LC chill, but doesnt light up?
a possible solution is a legendary that ISNT a lightcore but lights up. i hope for the legendaryLIGHTCORE.

Whatever the reason for the pose is unclear, it's the only image we have to work from until the figure is released
